El Jaripeo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Fennville

Food is full of flavor and portions are huge. I absolutely love their chips and salsa and so far the best in majority of Mexican restaurants I tried. And its been a lot!

Waiters are attentive and on top of service. Excellent customer service!

I ordered a quesadilla with chorizo and chicken. I always ask for a side of queso cheese to put on my quesadilla because it adds so much more flavor. But alone the meat is flavored very well. I enjoyed their Mexican rice and guacamole tastes fresh.

I also had an appetizer called Choriqueso. One of my favorite appetizers to try at restaurants and this place nailed it! It is very good with tortillas or if you have tortilla chips left over from the salsa, you can enjoy that as well.

I have dined in twice and never been disappointed. Some of the waiters have a difficult time understanding full English, but we are at their place of business. I seen reviews where people get annoyed but why?? Be understanding!! And they are very patient and willing to understand what you are wanting. You should be patient and considerate as well!

I will definitely be going back often!! It has officially become my favorite Mexican restaurant!!

I recently visited this local Mexican restaurant and I have to say, I was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. From start to finish, it was an exceptional dining experience.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and authentic, with colorful decorations and traditional music playing in the background. Our server was attentive and friendly, making sure that our drinks were always topped up and that we had everything we needed.

As for the food, it was some of the best Mexican cuisine I've ever had. The menu had a great selection of dishes to choose from, and everything we ordered was bursting with flavor. The guacamole was fresh and perfectly seasoned, the tacos were packed with juicy meat and topped with delicious toppings, and the margaritas were the perfect accompaniment to our meal.

Walked in to order two takeout meals, $50. Attentive service, friendly and warm interaction, restaurant was clean and seated several people while I waited. Food was ready within 10 minutes without issue. But the food was quite disappointing. Horchata was fine. Chips were fresh though lacking salt, salsa tasted like tomato sauce. Arroz con pollo was separate piles of rice and chicken. While the chicken was quite moist, it tasted like regular rotisserie style chicken without any seasoning beyond salt & pepper. Rice was pale and flavorless. Quesadilla rellena would have been great if I'd been looking for fistfuls of moist, under-seasoned chicken (there was a LOT of chicken). Only a whisper of queso in the entire quesadilla. Bits of veg well grilled and flavorful. The refried beans on the side were baffling as they tasted of beans and water, nothing else.
