Update: Krispy Kreme, I don’t think the appropriate response is to make me go write this out again on your site. Did you even read what I wrote or are you just offering an auto copy / paste response ?
Sigh.. I’m just never going to eat there again because every experience the past 5 or 6 years has been the same- terrible and the customer service reps act like I’m pulling their teeth out if I dare have a simple question about your products. They NEVER have a selection of donuts and every single donut I’ve ever had from this location is STALE. I hadn’t had Krispy Kreme for years prior to this experience because the last experience (at the same exact location) was similar. Why are the donuts always stale? Even when we ask for fresh, hot, glazed donuts as the HOT light is on, we receive stale donuts. I am repeatedly disappointed and I’m not going back.
When I purchased nearly $9 of 2 glazed donuts and 10 glazed donut holes, I didn’t realize I was paying for the most stale donuts I have ever had in my life. I wish I was exaggerating. I spat it out and gagged. Those were OLD. BEYOND OLD. Disgusting!! Also, your customer service needs some attention. When I inquired about the viral Valentine’s Day bouquet of donuts exclusively at Krispy Kreme locations, not only was your employee annoyed but also, their response was simply, “I don’t know if they’ll be in tomorrow or not. I don’t know when we’ll have them again.” Like do they even make donuts there? Is anything there fresh?? My god. What a nightmare. These were gross I’m so glad I didn’t buy a Valentine’s Day bouquet but if he had said that they would have fresh ones in the morning, I would have gone there when the donuts were fresh!! It’s a no brainer! But he was not in a good mood which is fine but at least warn me the donuts are gross and stale!!!!!! You can’t be out here serving stale, gross tasting donuts man!!!! I’m so disappointed as I drove all the way from Ballwin!!!! Why would you serve donuts that taste like the wet mat of a bar and stale all at once!!!???!!! I didn’t deserve to pay for this...
Read moreMy husband and I went through just this morning (a Saturday morning) and had the worst experience going through the drive thru. We had to wait at the speaker for at least over 6 minutes while there was no line to the window or any reason to have to wait so long. We debated back and forth about maybe theyre making fresh donuts or do not have enough staff at the moment and wanted to give them time. Eventually my husband just asked hello? to the speaker and in return we got a rude response from the female speaking who proceeded to confuse what we were ordering repeatedly and act like we were hassling her with our remarkably simple order that she could not understand. We were a bit dismayed but kept on and at the window she questioned us again about our order to which my husband AGAIN clarified, then paid, and we were handed a box immediately and sent on our way. Right after pulling off the lot we laughed and thought such a weird interaction and then we opened the box to see wrinkled/shriveled up, stone cold donuts, and one of the Barbie collab donuts (pink one) not even appearing remotely close to the advertised appearance. Very sloppy, very lazy, and RUDE workers at this location. Our receipt says the female who was rude to us was named Ellie and I did see a guy also filling the orders heckling about us while we waited at the window. With that being said, I encourage Fenton Krispy Kreme to hire new staff and get rid of the current ones. Read moreThe absolute worst service. I went in to get the $12 glazed dozen that started for app rewards members this morning 8/1. They said I couldn't order it because it ended yesterday when it started today. The guys said I could order online and then pay cash. He said it was online only but it never stated that on the app. So I go to order on the app. Can't pay cash. So I try to go inside and talk because the guy said I could. It's locked. I go back to the drive through. This new guy says it ended yesterday. Apparently he's the manager of this location. I told him what was going on and he refused to help in anyway. Was beyond rude and short with his customers. He needs customer service classes. I asked if i could soeak with the manager to see if we could do something and see what i was talking about and he just stated he was the manager and couldnt do anything. I was going to order the USA dozen but they were out of every donut too except glazed. Why would i order glazed if they couldnt follow their own deal? His lack of knowledge of sales and lack of a fix this attitude is unacceptable in this business. This is so disappointing and I will never come back to this location.
I did go to the south county location and what a difference! The lady was beyond kind and knew exactly what I was talking about. She couldn't believe the service I received and couldn't believe thus "manager" didn't know how to help or fix this. She made my morning so much better.
