Westside Park — Attraction in Fenton

On the way home from the Saint Louis Aquarium I stopped at Wally's to refuel and pick up some snack items for a light lunch. Given that Wally's didn't have a place to sit I needed a place to casually eat. The Westside Park was close by and served this purpose well.

The park is easily accessible to the main highways and is nestled at the end of a small suburban neighborhood. There is a covered seating area with park benches and an attached restroom which were fairly clean. There was also a small jungle gym area and a swing and basketball hoops.

This is a great park, with a playground which looks like it would be a lot of fun for kids. There's also a nice walking trail, which has obviously been very recently repaved. The trail took us past Westside Park Lake, where public fishing is allowed. We didn't take any of the trail "offshoots" to see where they led, we'll have to more thoroughly check out the park on a future visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Westside Park, and highly...

This park is beautiful. I was there for the first time today. Went fishing and caught a couple medium sized bass Met several people walking there dogs and every one was very nice and friendly.
