I went in there today and ordered 3 Bahamas mamas. I made a special request and told the cashier that I want less ice and more fruits on all three. After waiting 10 minutes, my smoothies arrives. I tase it and it didn't taste thick. Like I ordered " less ice more fruits ". So I asked the girl why they didnt make it correctly. She said that the cashier didn't put it under special request. They said they are remaking it. So I wait again and my smoothies arrives. I take one for my husband and mother in law. They both tasted it and said that it tasted diluted. In another words, it didn't taste thick like I requested. I paid $17.78 for my order and I expect it to be made right and it wasn't even made correctly after 2nd time. How hard it is to make a simple request, " less ice more fruits " which means thick. I even spelled it out for them ,"less ice more fruits". I am greatly disappointed and upset. My $17.78 down the drain. I could have ordered a whole meal at the restaurant for the money that I spent here. I see same complaint someone made here saying their smoothie tasted diluted as well. So I am not the only one this happened to , obviously. Also, they need to make sure that they put all the ingredients that a particular smoothie should consist of. For example, if Bahamas mamas made of strawberry, coconut creme, pineapple and white chocolate, then It should be made with all these ingredients. Don't skip an ingredients or forget to add it , because it will impact the taste of the smoothie . I really hope they improve.
Update: Manager Sam was willing to replace 2 of my smoothies when I go there next time. So I will give them...
Read moreNEEDS MANAGEMENT The energy is LOW, Staff is UNRESPONSIVE and they don't seem to get along or communicate well with each other. One of the girls who made me a wrap called my name 5 minutes before my food was ready. As I stood at the counter awkwardly, I tried to ask the staff if my wrap was sitting there. (I could only assume my food was ready if they called my name). I was ignored, and I'm a VERY loud person. AGAIN I asked if my food was sitting there in a very clear and concise way, no response. I was forced to actually cause a scene inside of the store (I NEVER do this kind of thing) just to have a member of the staff HAND ME MY ORDER! Now that everyone is staring at me, instead of mediating the situation, the girl at the register started blabbing bunch of incoherent, angry nonsense in my direction that I couldn't translate if I tried. The girl who made my wrap had a huge chip on her shoulder, and I can only assume she was trolling by calling my name early. She probably knew it would piss someone off and wanted to give it a try. She eventually came around the counter and handed me my food without looking at me or acknowledging me at all. Read moreThree times in the last 2 weeks I have ordered through the app, only to arrive and have my order not ready even ten to fifteen minutes after the specified time. Today I ordered through the app and I only received part of my order. The person at the counter stated that the receipt printed out only the stuff I received. Apparently the receipt was thrown away because they were unable to produce it to show me when I asked to see it. I showed the receipt on my phone to prove what I ordered and to get the rest of my order made. Is it normal to throw away the receipt that shows proof of what was ordered? Other stores I have been to give me a copy of the receipt when I pick up my order. This is supposed to be a quick stop on the way to work but it has turned into more of a hassle than it is worth since it is now making me late to work. This is the only Tropical Smoothie I go to that I am not completely satisfied with the quality of the customer service. A month ago I would have rated you 5 stars, but it is no longer 5 star quality.
