Denny's — Restaurant in Fernley

Well I come to Dennys at 8844 alot but usually in the evenings when selene and Cesar are switching shifts they are great. But Sunday I decided to go in early. Well my server was Dayam I think is how you spell it. I am very disappointed. Because I am so used to Cesar's and Selenne services being 100% that when I have a waiter telling me she is the best waiter that Cesar or selenne don't know what they are doing it made me very upset because for the last two months of it isn't selenne serving my food it's Cesar. And they are amazing. But Sunday morning Dayams remarks about her boss and his presentation wasn't okay by any means an he was so busy that I didn't get a chance to speak with him. But Cesar and Selenne I want you both to know you two are amazing servers and don't deserve to be talked bad about from your employees. Cesar you run this restaurant amazingly and I know you are showing selene step by step how to do things in your steps I give you and selene a 5 start rating but for the other server hope you understand that it is a half. Star for her because that wasn't alright by any means. People like that are not needed in a company like you are running sir. Hope u know its 5 stars for you an selene but not for Dayam I will be sticking to evening...

So I was in at 5:38am, server on duty was BETH, she ignored me when I sat with my daughter (who was OFF her shift) and Beth NEVER came to ask us if we needed anything knowing I'd just come in. After watching her walk around the room and looking at the food my daughter had ordered for us, sitting on the cooks counter for over 35 minutes and got mad because she kept looking at it. I then raised my voice and brought it up she then said SHE WASNT OUR SERVER.🤬 WELL WHO IN THE HELL IS THEN??? She didnt even tell her our food was ready. There was only 1 other customer here at that time and after I started arguing with her there were a few more. This chick is a joke and thinks that when you're off work and decide to stay and have a meal YOU'RE NOT A CUSTOMER and take care of yourself and the people you're with. She must pay people to give her good reviews because she sucks and this isn't my first time dealing with her rude attitude. We left and the manager better NOT expect us to pay for our food that had been sitting on that counter for OVER 45 minutes. NONE of the other servers have ever treated us like this and we've been coming here for over 3 yrs and my daughters been working here for 5+ months....

We came down for a visit with our family. We lived in Fernley for years, but had moved several years ago. Before heading home, we took our daughter out for breakfast to the Fernley Denny’s. The only thing good about it was the hostess. After she sat us down, it went downhill from there. We ordered a simple order of French Toast. Was supposed to come with 2 slices of bread. We each got one slice of bread, cut in 2, hence to the waitress was 2 slices. Lol. So I gave my husband my “2 slices” and asked for just an English muffin with no butter, but some jam, please. Well, she came back with my English muffin and it was barely warm, much less toasted, almost like it was straight out of the bag!! She left the bill and never returned. She went and sat down and entertained herself with her phone. The jelly container is what is pictured. Filthy beyond words!! Not to mention having to get for the 3 of us clean silverware, since the ones we were given when we sat down was still dirty but was placed in the little paper cover.
