Inside Harley Davidson.... no sign outside .... Probably mostly locals come here? Not easy to spot unless you know it is "inside" the Harley shop.
My wife and I are constantly traveling, our oversized vehicle had to be parked at the local truck stop. And we found Lizzie Lou's on Google maps, and walked the mile to check it out for breakfast on a Sunday morning.
When we arrived on foot we could not find the restaurant! The map shows it behind the bike shop, so we cross the street to inquire if anyone knows where it is. There are no visual clues that there was any sort of food service at this location.
Well, what a surprise, as we walk in the door... There it is ... tucked in a corner, eat in counter service on bar stools, limited but a nice variety of breakfast and lunch items.
We are trying the "grits to go" eat in style and the breakfast burrito that looks like a recipe I would make. It has cream cheese , cheddar , spinach, onion, sausage, and egg.
This is our first time here, I'm posting before we order, and will add comment on the service and food
Edit, as we placed our order, We are told there would be a short wait as they had a large number of call in orders to go, that they were fixing. This was not a problem for us. As we sit and watch the crew dance around each other, busy making and filling orders, it is clear that most of the business today is call ahead orders. If the food is as good as it appears this is going to be a treat!
Edit,
We are lite eaters, and should have just ordered one meal to split, the burrito will be wrapped up to go.
Oh my! , the other reviews are accurate, this is THE place to eat! ... We will be back, and call in our orders like the locals do. Yum is the only word I can think of ... And...

If you didn’t know this place is inside the Harley Davidson so finding it was easy for me and parking was also easy. I was immediately greeted by the owner she asked if I was dining in or to go. There was a QR code to scan to view the menu, I already had my mind set on those loaded grits so I ordered that and added hot links. I also ordered the lemonade of the day, which was a blended pineapple. The grits did take about 25 minutes because they are made to order but you can’t rush greatness so I was OK to wait. I also went with a friend who ordered The Hangover. The food came out piping hot because everything is made fresh. When I tell you those loaded grits tasted exactly how I dreamt they would taste. Usually when you go to restaurants, you’re so used to grabbing condiments before even trying the food. The owner directed me to at least try it before adding anything and she was right the meals did not need anything more everything was perfectly seasoned not too salty not too cheesy literally perfect. Her hospitality was unmatched and I was even more shocked when I paid and wanted to leave gratuity but she so graciously said she didn’t accept tips but did ask for me to spread the word about her lovely establishment! Next time I come, I’m gonna make sure I bring cash just to show my gratitude the hospitality, the food and the overall experience was literally five stars. This may have been my first time, but it surely won’t be my last!
God bless you. You really made my day.

Read moreI would like to share my recent experience at Lizzie Lous with the hope that it may provide constructive feedback for future improvement.
Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing, especially considering my intention to support a Black-owned business. My family and I chose to dine here for breakfast, as we were also exploring catering options for an upcoming event. However, the interaction with the owner, Ness, was less than satisfactory.
From the outset, the experience felt unwelcoming. When my mother inquired about catering availability, Ness responded in a manner that came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Despite my mother’s efforts to clarify the situation regarding the catering calendar on their website, Ness’s tone suggested irritation rather than a willingness to assist us.
As my mother pointed out the information on the website, it was concerning to witness Ness’s reaction. She questioned the validity of the website, despite it being clearly accessible and accurate. This exchange left us feeling undervalued as potential customers.
Unfortunately, the overall service did not reflect the quality we anticipated, and it was disheartening to feel that our interest in supporting the business was not reciprocated. I hope that future interactions can be more positive and welcoming, as there is potential for this establishment to thrive with improved...
