Ay Chihuahua — Restaurant in Fillmore

I HAVE BEEN PATRONIZING THIS LITTLE RESTAURANT IN FILLMORE CA FOR ABOUT 30 YEARS. ME AND MY FRIEND LOUIE CARREON WOULD ALWAYS STOP THERE FOR BREAKFAST OR LUNCH ON OUR WAY TO VICTORVILLE OR TEHECHAPI DURING WORK. WE MENT THE OWNER MARIO WHEN HE FIRST OPENED, WHO IS STILL THE OWNER AND IS REGULARLY AT THE RESTAURANT. THEIR FOOD IS ALWAYS FRESHLY PREPARED AND IS ALWAYS VERY FRESH, GOOD AND TASTEFUL. THEIR FISH TACOS ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITES. DO NOT LET THE EXTERIOR OR SURROUNDING AREA DISCOURAGE YOU FROM STOPPING AND TRYING SOME OF THEIR GREAT FOOD. THIS LITTLE RESTAURANT WAS HERE WHEN FILLMORE WAS A LITTLE SLEEPY HOLLOW TOWN, NOW FILLMORE IS BECOMING A CITY. I was pleasantly surprised when I was welcomed with a kind greeting as I walked in after being on the road for 3 hours. We appreciated that the kind gentleman that took our order did not panic or lose his patients when we made off of the menu requests. The food was of good quality, well prepared and very tasty.
