Super A Foods — Local services in Fillmore

Go-to grocery store on little junkets up scenic hwy 126 to Santa Paula,Fillmore/Piru area. I go especially for the hot bar and deli selections.(Last Thanksgiving I picked up prepared,roasted turkey..so good) I love the fried shrimp, jala/cheese poppers, chicken tenders and other treats. Also have various other cooked selections. From deli I luv the Napolito salad and slaws. The also have guava and quince paste cut up in squarechunks by the pound and I prefer this to buying a big slab. Pre-pandemic they'd have chips n various salsas to sample. Kinda miss that. Great bakery area separate space at one end of store. Can get a cup of coffee. Lotta cakes,breads,pastries. Have purchased various clothing items there. Hats,sweats,thermal leggjngs,leggings,. I enjoy it and it's in a small strip mall with dollar tree and other shopping close by. Staff is friendly and helpful and I have never waited very long in checkout EXCEPT at deli during lunchtime. Seems to be a fairly even flow of customers...

Clean, Great Cust. Service, SNAP friendly store. We have a Vons right across the street from here(in the Balden Towne Plaza shopping center). Whatever is pricy or what they have at Vons, you can always go to Super A. They always have a good selection in the meat dept. Their made to order crispy fried chicken is to die for(in my opinion), & always great to order for last min. gatherings. The Bakery Dept always has different types of cakes, jello, tres leches cake, hand made tortillas(corn & flour)as well as pan dulces stocked up. Their produce department has so many vegetables and fruits and a reasonable price. Since store opened, I go there for my produce since Vons is a Lil pricey in that Dept. w/o a big selection as Super A does. I am new to the Fillmore area so this was a new store for me I like it everybody as much as I do law and it is geared more towards Latin food but that's OK when I can't get their allow have to do is go across the street.
