If you want terrible customer service come here. I went to purchase two chickens and asked they don’t get my order wrong. The woman at the register said “It is the customers responsibility to check their order not ours to make sure it is correct.” They have a sign instructing customers to check their orders for accuracy. The market cashier is also rude and lacks customer service. This place went downhill since they let go of the older women who used to work there. They were wonderful and kind. This place used to be good 3 years ago. Moved away but had a chance to stop by today. The customer service was awful, they skipped me in line. The lady who skipped us continued to mad dog us while we waited. I figured the meal would be worth the disrespect. Complained but was dismissed. The chicken was not good, tortillas were cardboard and not made from scratch like before. Watery beans and old dry rice. Overall a bad expierance, food and service. Sad. This is one of the best grocery store / deli. It is very clean and orderly and has quite a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. They have a cafeteria type area inside the store and the food they serve is fresh and delicious. The staff are kind and courteous. Great Place to eat, grocery shop, they have plenty of parking and have fresh chicken barbecuing outside. If you are coming from LA to Ventura to go to the beach you might want to make a stop here.
