I came here for the reviews but honestly maybe it’s just the fact I’m use to authentic Mexican food from California and Chicago and vacationing in Oaxaca every summer. But this food was not it. The tortillas they use are the Blanca’s you get from Mexican stores for 2$ a pack. Yet they charge 3$ for 4 tortillas on the side. The carnitas tasted old and reheated and were big chunks and not juicy or tender. The Asada was dry flavorless and chewy. They charge for chips and salsa. And the chips were drenched in oil. The rice is flavorless and the beans taste as if they came out of a can. This may be a good quick bite to eat place but definitely not one to sit down with your family and enjoy authentic Mexican food. Unless you’ve never had real authentic then yes it’s better than Taco Bell. The service kinda sucks the guys in the grill are sour when you ask them for something. I asked for a side of sour cream because I felt my sopé didn’t have enough. They charged me 50 cents . Won’t be back but I can say the guacamole was pretty good. Only thing...

2022 Oct Packed on Mondays: Taco Mondays. Specials on Authentic Tacos: Shredded Beef, Ground Beef, Chicken, Shredded Pork for $2 Sour Cream, Cheese additional charge Reg Prices but they have delicious Lengua, Tripe, etc. Best courtesy topping bar I have ever seen.

2021: Authentic food. Large group dining possible.

My favorite is the spicy fish dish called Vagre al a Diabla/Diablo. Corn tortilla wraps come with it to make your own fish tacos. It is always too much for me to eat in one sitting. My brother had it as leftovers the next day and found it to be absolutely delicious!

Friends ordered tripe tacos, pastoral tacos, beef tacos....all of them are not from here (Canada, New Jersey, Texas, New York, California respectively) They all really loved them and were very happy to find this place comparable if not better than back in their hometowns.

Different heat levels of salsas and condiments can be added at your convenience from a "help - yourself bar".

Refillable fountain drinks available as well as Mexican...

Dine in on this one. As a newcomer to the Indy area I'm taking all the recommendations I can get for mexican food. This one was just okay. Not bad, not great. I asked how big the tacos were noting that they were over 4 bucks a piece, and the hand gesture indicated that they were the size I would expect which is two tortilla small ones. So I ordered five. They were huge, and the meat portion was good so thats a plus. Not a ton of flavor, could use seasoning, but salsa bar and cilantro/red onion made up for it enough. The service was also not very personable, and I was given no number or name not taken, so when my food was ready they just called it up and left it on the counter. Chips appear to be home-made so...

I stopped by Panchos one evening for a quick dinner with my sibling. We ordered two chicken tacos and two fish tacos, but unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. The fish tacos were probably the worst part. The fish was overly fried, dry, and completely lacking flavor. The chicken wasn’t much better either, it just didn’t taste fresh or seasoned well. Even the tortillas didn’t seem fresh, which kind of ruined the whole thing. We ended up not finishing our food. The service was okay. Nothing to complain about there, but the food just didn’t make it for us. Definitely won’t be coming back.

We love Pancho's!!! I have tried lots of different things on the menu and it is always authentic and really good. My favorite are the beef lengua tacos, I crave these often and come to get them as a treat to myself when I have a bad day. My hubby likes the fajitas. Their salsa bar is awesome!!!!! Love the fresh veggies, pickled carrots, and all the different flavors of spicy salsa!!
