I came here for the reviews but honestly maybe it’s just the fact I’m use to authentic Mexican food from California and Chicago and vacationing in Oaxaca every summer. But this food was not it. The tortillas they use are the Blanca’s you get from Mexican stores for 2$ a pack. Yet they charge 3$ for 4 tortillas on the side. The carnitas tasted old and reheated and were big chunks and not juicy or tender. The Asada was dry flavorless and chewy. They charge for chips and salsa. And the chips were drenched in oil. The rice is flavorless and the beans taste as if they came out of a can. This may be a good quick bite to eat place but definitely not one to sit down with your family and enjoy authentic Mexican food. Unless you’ve never had real authentic then yes it’s better than Taco Bell. The service kinda sucks the guys in the grill are sour when you ask them for something. I asked for a side of sour cream because I felt my sopé didn’t have enough. They charged me 50 cents . Won’t be back but I can say the guacamole was pretty good. Only thing...

Friends ordered tripe tacos, pastoral tacos, beef tacos....all of them are not from here (Canada, New Jersey, Texas, New York, California respectively) They all really loved them and were very happy to find this place comparable if not better than back in their hometowns.

I asked how big the tacos were noting that they were over 4 bucks a piece, and the hand gesture indicated that they were the size I would expect which is two tortilla small ones. So I ordered five. They were huge, and the meat portion was good so thats a plus. Not a ton of flavor, could use seasoning, but salsa bar and cilantro/red onion made up for it enough. The service was also not very personable, and I was given no number or name not taken, so when my food was ready they just called it up and left it on the counter. Chips appear to be home-made so...
