EDIT: I did not work here, this is what I saw during my experience as a CUSTOMER. No idea what that response from the owner is. I feel like my experience & what I noticed is important then, because he doesn’t realize that I was never even an employee. Red flag.
I usually try not to leave bad reviews, but I was just uncomfortable with the working conditions here. I have come to Cocobowlz a couple different times & each time, there was only one employee working. One girl to take the orders then go & make the order. That doesn’t include all the prep work that needs to be done. Just seems very sketchy, & makes the wait way longer for one bowl or smoothie. Not very efficient or good for the employees. On one occasion, there were two other people in the store while I was, & the wait was over 20 minutes, just because the employee was all alone in the store. How do they go & use the restroom? What if someone comes into the store when they need to step away? That just does not seem like a good working environment, & I feel like it needs to be...
Read moreI don't normally leave negative feedback but I do feel like I should provide some honest constructive criticism for this location. The staff was helpful, and the smoothie tasted good. But it came out to almost $12 for a smoothie about 6in tall. Took all of 3 minutes to drink.
Additionally, in the actual really frustrating part was when I placed the order online I selected Simpsonville given that five forks is still considered Simpsonville not realizing they also had a location on Fairview road. I quickly realized what went wrong and attempted to reach out to them so that they didn't make the order 25 minutes away and waste the food. There was not a phone number listed on google, nor the website, and no combination of links I could follow would give me a phone number to reach out to them meaning that not only was I unable to cancel the order but that food got made and went to waste. I highly recommend making it easier to contact your locations and working on the volume of your smoothies to be comparable to other restaurants in a...
Read moreThis was our visit to Cocobowlz, and they did not disappoint me at all. The fruit was super fresh and in season and the quantity was impressive. Some may think it’s expensive, but I will pay more for a quality product. You can try their 10 signature bowlz or 9 smoothiez or build your own bowlz. Start by selecting one item for the base, step 1: pick granola or almond shavings or none, step 2: select up to three fruits, step 3: select up to 3 toppings, step 4: select one drizzle and prepare to enjoy a wonderful cold treat. Today, I decided to build my own bowlz with mango, almond shavings, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, chia & flax seeds, and peanut butter drizzle. Our second bowlz started with acai, almond shavings, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, flax seeds & cacao nibs, and Nutella drizzle. Would definitely recommend to anyone in search of a good wholesome acai bowlz or smoothiez to give this...
