I’ll talk straight : this is THE single worst restaurant I’ve ever gone to. And I’m really not a difficult client : I can wait patiently, and I knew it wasn’t gonna be some high-end gastronomy, I get that this is « just » a motel restaurant. But come on…

First, the service. The waiter was not so welcoming, almost rude. Our table was unstable (which can happen), I asked the waiter if he had any solution for that, and the answer I got was « no ». The only solution I found was to use my own napkin, which I think I shouldn’t have to do as a client. Then we waited about 20 minutes just for the menu, and more than 40 minutes after ordering to get our dishes.

Second, the dishes. Mine was an average chicken, with defrosted porridge, defrosted rice, and tortillas (what was I even supposed to do with that ??). My wife got an undercooked salmon, with that same defrosted rice and some defrosted vegetables. I could do the same in 10 minutes, so I really wonder why we waited for so long. Maybe do they go fishing the salmon and hunting the chicken before « cooking » them ?

The damn dinner wasn’t even cheap, as we paid more than 25$ per person for this…

I honestly don’t know how it is rated 4/5 on Google, because that was a pure joke. I believe the reason this restaurant still exist is because this is the only one around. With that said, you’d better drive for a few minutes to go anywhere...

We came around 10 am to have breakfast after visiting the Grand Canyon early in the morning.

This place was one of the few in the area serving breakfasts.

We ordered the simplest: two eggs with potatoes and bread, also coffee. Unfortunately we had to wait at least 30-40 min to get the food. For us it was accepted although we were hungry and a bit in the hurry, but there were also families with kids, I imagine how hard it was for them to wait. As the waitress explained there was some problem in the kitchen, but I am not sure what a problem should be that you fry a couple of eggs for 40 minutes :/ we appreciated the feedback though.

when the food finally came, it was fine and tasted well, the portion was sufficient. I appreciated real plates, cups and cutlery - almost no plastic waste except the milk for coffee.

We paid 36 usd for the order. In my eyes, it is overpriced, for example, they charged 4 usd for the coffee per person, too much in my eyes.

Otherwise the place is fine, clean comfy tables, nice Christmas decorations,...

Stopped here for dinner after our Grand Canyon visit. This was one of a few places on the way back to Flagstaff that were open on Friday night after 8 PM. Sat down and got our drinks. I ordered the Carne Asada Fries as my meal, was the best of the dishes we ordered. The other three were a Western Burger, Mushroom Burger and Mushroom Swiss Pasta. The burgers were cooked too rare. The pasta was fettuccine with a sauce that wasn't a sauce but just cream of mushroom soup with no additives or seasonings. We were too tired to wait for any reorders and needed to be on our way. Plus our server deserted us after serving our food and didn't bring us the check and we had to ask another server to ring us out. The other server did offer a discount but would not have made up for the subpar experience. Overpriced and not impressive, wait till you get to Flagstaff on your drive back for...

This spot has the most potential in the area in becoming the best and most busy restaurant and bar, but they never get it right unfortunately. For a Breakfast I got the huervo rancheros which was tasty. The iced coffee which is over priced and it stands as the worst coffee I have ever had. Rather get ice coffee from the Chevron up the road. The Service is the best thing about this restaurant, so you can't expect much... There is an entire outside area that could easily be used as a patio, beer garden, live music but this placed locks it up and covers it up. .. it's like the company doesn't want to make money 😂 This is the only BAR in the area and for the next 30miles..... It's only open til 10pm, what's the point in having a bar then. Idk this place has so much opportunity and they always miss the mark

I finally went to this restaurant so many times driving by. Let me tell you, you gotta try the fajitas veggie style, especially without salt. Well, i requested no salt. It was delicious, in a hot skillet with all the trimmings. I met almost the whole team. They were very concerned about my needs. Very friendly the waiters, especially the new waiter on training. I felt at home in this place to be honest with you. I had a lil chat with few of them and they are a good crowd. They were nice to replace my refried beans and rice with a delicious salad. The place is well kept and decorated nicely. They are locate only few miles from the grand cayon. I just want to wish them all my best and to continue to keep that smile and friendliness with all who come in. God bless you. Jesus loves.
