Banana Boat Ice Cream — Restaurant in Flint

Their ice cream and novelty items are reasonably priced. You get a lot of ice cream for your money when you get a cone of any size. I would not bring small children here, as they wouldn't be able to eat all of it. My kids like to get their version of a Blizzard. I believe they call it a Flurry. They put a lot of toppings in, but 2 of the kids said their Flurries had a minty taste. They all ordered Reese's peanut butter cup or Reese's pieces. So, there should not have been any mint flavor. I'm guessing the blender wasn't cleaned properly before their Flurries were made. I tried one of their signature ice creams called Summer Celebration. It's a mix of vanilla ice cream, blueberry sherbet and raspberry sherbet. There was waaay more blueberry sherbet than anything else and it was the bluest thing I'd ever seen. I couldn't enjoy it because I was imagining my kidneys struggling to flush all of that blue dye out of my system, lol. The raspberry sherbet part was delicious, though. All in all, it's a good place to go to get ice cream. Just be mindful of the fact that it isn't in the best neighborhood and someone might ask you for spare change while...

I can think of 10 other places I will go and should have gone. Lesson learned don't get hand dipped on opening. I swear I got freezer burnt ice cream from last year...I only went because they came up when searching espresso ice cream and this place came up. I know the area and lived close as we waited in line watching flints finest turds out running the streets. After a short wait in line being entertained by some teens power hitting 3 vapes at a time. Like we all do...We placed are order one medium coffee crap ice cream.i didn't find it till the last minute and it took the gamble and a chocolate cherry parfait both hand dipped. Both slightly freezer burnt....the topping kept us wondering till we where almost home and I knew it was not right and my poor girl said the same thing but was not gonna complain and we both tossed that crap in the trash! If you goto any questionable ice cream spots skip the hand dipped and go soft serve. We won't be getting on...

I am very upset with Banana boat on Corruna Rd in Flint Michigan. They really let me down I ordered a strawberry sundae. They gave me three slivers of strawberries and all juice I could’ve got just the ice cream cone and then I don’t have a phone number where you can call them back I was riding with someone else I threw it out I want them to know. I probably will never buy another ice cream sundae there again in my life. It’s terrible want you spend your money on something and it’s not what you thought it would be.
