I will start off first by saying this restaurant is Drive-Through only. Now that that's out of the way, lets get into the experience.
The menu for this restaurant has many items, but no pictures to see what you're getting. Be weary of that, should you order something very messy, such as the BBQ Steak and Cheese. This sandwich was overall really tasty, but I made such a big mess eating it that I feel like I lost about $2 worth of the product. The Steak and Cheese is really good as well, and if you order their special Big Johns sauce, you just might find yourself a new favorite. The sauce is advertised as "spicy and sweet" but don't be alarmed by it saying spicy. At best its a very mild, mild taste with a nice sweet aftertaste almost like cocktail sauce. I was disappointed that there were no fries on the menu, although they do have many different kinds of sandwiches so you may find something you like even if you're not into philly steak.
In the end, I rate the food 8/10 due to the presentation and taste. And I give the staff a 10/10 for how nice they were.
Overall I would say that Big John's is a nice 9/10 in my book. Go get yourself...
Read moreThis was a very poor experience. They ran out of steak, had to prepare more, 30 mins before closing. No big deal until the cook decided not to prepare our sandwiches because they were ordered without onion. 5 orders that were after ours got made first. When questioned, the "tall and shaved head" cook started arguing with us about how we placed our orders. He was screaming at us, then the second cook started yelling at the same time. Who allows employees to treat customers like that? This should NOT be allowed. We eat at this Big John's weekly for over 15 yrs. Never ever been treated like that. It was 30 mins before they close and I'm sure on a friday night they wanted to get the heck out. In 6 orders there was a minimum of $120 spent... This isnt a good way to treat people that support...
Read moreSo I ordered a whole #7 super steak, cheese and mushroom sandwich. When they handed the sandwich to me through the drive through window. They said the mushroom were cooked in with the meat, not on top. I thought that was odd. After getting home and unwrapping my sandwich the first thing that I noticed was there were no mushrooms on top whatsoever. The meat was overcooked and dried out and I could only count maybe 5-7 mushrooms inside the meat. I could only stomach eating half of the flavorless sandwich. I tried giving the other half to my daughter who did love Big John’s and took one look at it and wanted nothing to do with it and put in the fridge. I paid over $23 for this sandwich and I totally regret ever...
