This is a little tiny place but with excellent food. The onion rings were the Home run for me. Big sweet onions inside not being overcooked with a nice crunch. I had the bacon cheese dog which was all right the bacon was cooked hard which I appreciate it but the bun was really hard too. Then I had the Flint style Coney. This was great but it needed a little more spice. But it had the texture I've come to expect from a flint coney. They have a sign out front that says the only used Koegels. If you are from the area this is a major bonus. It only has a drive-thru but it has a window out front so if you order a head you can pick up at the window instead of waiting through the drive-thru. The prices are excellent I eat for around $10 for two dogs and onion rings. The lady who served me my food was super nice. You can also see them in there cooking which I like to see whether the kitchen is cleaned or not. Haha. It is!

Food is hot and fresh. I got the Fish basket and it was awesome. Fish was super good, seasoned and flaky. The lady that helped me was very nice. I told her I had never been there before so I needed a minute to check out the menu and she said no problem take your time. She did not rush me at all and was happy to answer any questions I had. I work right around the corner so I will definitely be going back. Pictures of the menu included but prices are not correct. She did tell me that before handing it to me. Just want to give an idea of what they have. If you haven't tried this place yet go get you some. It's goooood!!

Just drive past the McDonald’s down the road and come here instead. They make a really good burger, fresh and tasty, but my favorite is the hand cut French fries. You get a generous portion and your lunch will cost about the same as McDonald’s. The place doesn’t look like much from the road, but it is clean and you can tell they care about keeping it as nice as possible. The staff has always been very friendly. Give it a try. PS a friend of mine swears by the coneys, I haven’t tried them yet.

Perfect gyros!

We happened drive by over a year ago and ordered two gyros with feta added. They were delicious. The best gyros we had ever eaten were from Gyro King in the Chicago area back in 1980. We moved back to Michigan in 1981 and have been searching for a replacement ever since. After all these years we had finally found a place to get a perfect gyro in Michigan.

What is a perfect gyro you ask? First, the pita bread has to be grilled to give it a little crunch. Being served a gyro on a soft pita out of a bread bag ruins the entire sandwich. The pita was grilled! 1 for 1!

Next, the meat has to be sliced fresh off of one of the rotisserie broilers. Warmed up frozen meat from a food service is not only a disappointment, it’s tasteless, spongy, and not close to the real deal. The meat was freshly sliced! 2 for 2!

Now we get to the sauce. A gyro with poor Tzatziki sauce is like a Mexican restaurant with poor chips and salsa. If they can’t get that right, your going to be disappointed with your meal. The Tzatziki sauce was delicious and it was served in the proportion to the other ingredients. 3 for 3!

Onions and tomatoes completed a perfect gyro. My wife and I find that adding some feta gives the entire sandwich that little extra flavor that makes eating the sandwich a pleasurable experience well beyond any individual ingredient. 4 for 4!

We were heart broken when we came by on follow up trips and they never seemed to be open. Last month we drove by and they were open! We spoke to the owner and he had only recently taken the restaurant back from the people they had sold it too. It was a family owned business and he was determined to bring it back. He has invested in updating the premises and I expect it will be nicer every time we visit.

The sandwich is huge. No shortage of any ingredients when I’ve started to expect minimal amounts as restaurants try and keep prices down and still be profitable. Now for the best news of all. They are selling these for the ridiculous price of 2 for $10. With a nominal up charge for the feta, I can get 4 incredibly good gyros for $24 out the door tax and all. You’ll have to get one to believe it.

They are drive up window only. They have a picnic table area but you’re going to eat it in your car. You are not going here for the decor or ambiance. You are going for the food and you won’t be sorry. They have other menu items including a “5 coneys for $10”but I can’t think of a reason not to order gyros of this quality when I get the chance so I haven’t tried anything else. I almost didn’t want to write this review as I didn’t want to share but they deserve credit for a great food item at a great price. Don’t...

The building isn't much to look at, but the food is great. We tried a couple of shakes in this visit. And even though there's not much to them, it's refreshing not to have the sickening sweet "shakes" from fast food joints.

The only "downside" of this place is that the food is made to order. As such, your wait for food is highly dependant on the customers in front of you. If you're the only person in line, great. You'll have 10 Coney's in 5 minutes or so. If there's two people ahead of you, expect to be there twenty minutes or more.

I love their 10/$10 Coney's. They're good quality, and you can't beath the price. My father particularly enjoys their ribs, but I can't personally attest to their flavor.

It's one of those hole in the wall joints that most people will drive past because it's appearance looks run down. But give them a shot, youll probably...
