The Junction Restaurant — Restaurant in Flomaton

What a great little restaurant we found on the way home from Mobile to Montgomery.

I had the bacon cheeseburger and my wife had the cheeseburger with pineapple. Both were great! She had sweet potato fries and I had onion rings. Both were better than expected. The onion rings remind me of the rings at The Varsity in Atlanta except they were not greasy. We finished off with an apple and a blackberry fried pie. These we as good as my grandmother used to make at home.

To top it off, there was only one server who was a young lady that took care of every table (there were 8 tables) efficiently. She also was serving to-go customers while also running the register and busing tables. My wife was a server for 9 years and was impressed by this young woman.

Today was the first time we ordered from here. We did carryout. They quoted 15 mins and they were spot on on the time. We ordered the cheesy bread, a large pepperoni, jalapeno, ex cheese, pizza sauce and a large pepperoni, cheese and olive oil sauce pizza. Along w a slice of cinnamon bun cheesecake. ALL WAS EXCEPTIONAL. My husband is very picky when it comes to food and for him to say with wide eyes "VERY GOOD" and didn't say another word until it was all gone xD The only caveat is that it is a smidge pricey BUT the food is worth every penny!! We WILL be back as we are locals. Well done Junction, well done. Glad to have another good restaurant in town... Lord knows we need it, lol. I went the second week they were open. I ordered just a burger and fries to go. Waited 45mins and still no food. There was 3 other customers that had been there over hour and a half waiting. One had ordered over the phone 20 mins before arriving and was still waiting. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again today. Called order 2 grilled chicken meals and a salad. Employee stated 20 mins. Went to pick it up 20 mins later and had to wait 45 mins for the food. Got back to the shop to eat (around the corner from this place) was missing dressing and the fries were cold. The chicken patties didn't even cover the Buns. 2 chances both I could have cooked myself something...
