I used to go regularly with friends, because we are college students and it is affordable. For the most part, i loved the place, the workers were so sweet and the food consistent. Then, a few weeks ago, they switched managers. The new manager would be extremely irate about fixing incorrect orders, coupon administration (a friend of mine who works at mcdonald’s told me about their reciept coupons that you could use to get more food at a still reliable price, and all you had to do was provide feedback on the food! when this new manager got hired, however, they would not use the coupons presumably to save time, because all the other locations honored them), and overall really mean both to customers and her workers. As someone who’s worked this exact job, i get it girl. It’s thankless and hard. But acting so awful to others isn’t the way to go. Anyways tonight i came in, and she denied the receipt coupon. That’s okay, i removed the other coupon so make it easier after. I paid, got my food, said thank you and drove off to the parking lot to eat. When I opened the bag, i noticed one item was missing, so i thought oh no biggie i’ll just call and clear this up so i can get it fixed and go home. Upon calling, the manager immediately started speaking over me, accusing me of trying to get “free food”, name calling, and just being super mean. I tried to tell her no I was not trying to get free food, because I ordered and paid for what i had said. She said I never said that, and presumably was wrung up incorrectly. I’m thinking okay, common mishap, let’s fix it and i pay for the item again. Nope! She gets even worse and hangs up. I didn’t fully understand what had just happened so I called again, hoping that we could clarify it, and hoping it was some sort of misunderstanding because i severely doubted someone could be so almost cartoonishly mean. Wrong! She says she is calling the cops on me for “calling them twice and [using it to] harass them”. I tried to explain that was not my intent, and I just wanted to sort things out. She tells me to stop yelling?? I know i didn’t raise it, because i work with kids and people who need extra patience before, and I am trained to stay levelheaded when presumably miscommunications happen. She talks over me, insults me, and begins to say I need to come back tomorrow to speak to the other managers. I tell her I cannot do that tomorrow, because I have class, and prefer a email correspondence or phone number for virtual correspondence that fits more schedules better. She goes off again saying it’s her managers tomorrow or nobody at all, and hangs up. I’m freaking out because i’ve never had police trouble before, and was scared if i left i’d get arrested for evading. So while i waited for the police i tried to call them back to calm things down, because Ive never had police troubles and it freaked me out. I thought we could figure this out if we just had the chance to talk everyone down and agree on a solution. After a few minutes passed i wasn’t sure if they had called or not, but i was scared i’d get in trouble, I called 911 to ask if we still were expecting dispatch or if i could leave. They dispatched an officer. He came out and said the lady said coupons aren’t used like that and i need to call the number she gave me. I told him I wasn’t given a number, but if i could get it i would be happy and we could call it quits for the night. He said he couldn’t but she could be reminded to say. She came out, notably nicer than on the phone, and told me to call the number. I said she didn’t give me one, but i could write it down if she had time now. She gave it to me and said she “didn’t forgive me for tonight’s actions” and so said I am sorry but I didn’t understand and she didn’t give me the number during the call, and that i would’ve left if i got the number. She gave me the number and told the officer to have fun with me then walked off. I checked once i got home, it’s a number to a wending venue about 30 miles out into the next town. This situation and locations management is just...
Read moreMy last time going to this McDonalds was awful. I placed my order in the app, pulled up to the intercom, gave my code then pulled around in line to wait. The vehicle in front of me began to pull off but stopped and backed up. The driver talked to the worker for a minute then was handed 2 drinks and a bag, so she pulled off. I pulled up to the window that was propped open and heard yelling and cursing. I'm sitting there in disbelief trying to figure out what's going on. I look and see that it's a lady with a blue shirt on yelling at one of the workers at the window. This went on the whole time I'm waiting for my order. When I finally received it, there was a sandwich missing. I told the other young guy and he seemed to not believe me but finally gave me the sandwich. I pulled up and went inside to let the the lady in the blue shirt know that her behavior was unprofessional and that I was appalled as a customer to witness it. I was told to mind my business and the only reason I was taking up for the worker was because he was black and she was white. She called me racist and began to use more profanity. Another worker chimed in and asked me why I didn't say something at the window. She had an attitude and called me a "b" and then proceeded to say she couldn't tell if I was a man or woman, so she didn't know how to address me...as ma'am or sir. The lady in the blue shirt said yea in a joking manner, how can I help you sir to me. She began arguing with the worker again and said she was calling the police on him and also telling them she didn't want me back in the place because I was rude and cursed her. Mind you, I never said one curse word to her, but I did raise my voice. So, I told her to call them and walked to my vehicle to wait. She came out the door and gave a description of my vehicle to whoever she was talking to on the phone. I had one daughter on the phone the entire time I was there, so I put her on hold to call my other daughter to come get the food since it was for my grandkids and I didn't want it being cold while I waited on the police. I guess it's protocol for 4 officers to be dispatched because that's how many showed up. Or, perhaps it was the lie she told to get them there. I'll never know because I didn't ask. Two came to my vehicle to talk to me, one asked for my license then went inside with the other two. Finally he came out, gave my license back and said she had issued a trespass against me. Upper management was contacted, but I have yet to...
Read moreEvery time I go here they always put people on hold...the foods never fresh. Service has its ups and downs when it Comes to paying and getting the food.
Today just topped the cake 🎂 of why in the world do I keep coming here!?!?
I pull up and there's no cars in front of me, ordering, paying, or getting food at the window. I immediately get "please hold". I wait about 2-3 minutes for them to finally take my order. I pull up to the 2nd window as directed after my order was taken... the cashiers back was towards me leaning on the window. When he does turn around to collect my payment, doesn't confirm my total or even say a word! Swipes my card, accordian folds up my receipt and hands it back to me with my car...still saying nothing, not even with a smile... gives me my frappe. I'm waiting at the window for another 4-5 mins. Thinking I'm gonna get fresh food. Meanwhile, the cashier is just standing around... looking board. Next thing I know he's handing me my happy meal...then I'm waiting another 2 mins and he pops the window open and says something really fast, all I understood was did you get your frappe? I said yeah, he turned back around and said something to the other employee. Hands me my bag. I'm like finally! I just got done working, and I'm freaking tired. I start to drive away and I grab some fries... just barely warm. Grabbed a nugget, taste like it was sitting out to long. Open my cheeseburger, hoping that's what was fresh and why I was waiting so long. Nope! 3 dried out patties, with cheese that couldn't even melt... I'm tired I don't feel like going back and complaining and waiting on actual fresh food. I get all the way home and realize they didn't give my my daughter's chocolate milk to go with her happy meal. It takes a lot for me to leave a review like this.
I understand being short staffed, I managed customer service myself. I can't even eat my food because it's awful and...
