Lucky find, and we'll be back for more. Came to town for the 80th Peanut Festival (early October) and happened to set up our chairs here for the parade. Not only did this give us immediate access to sample Mrs. Annie's goods for two hours, but we had great seats to see Mrs. Annie herself drive past us in the parade!

Don't know if the store sells peanut ice cream, or if it was just for the parade, but that would be my first recommendation! The peanut brittle, though, was remarkable. While I've never eaten a peanut brittle that I didn't enjoy, I have also never eaten peanut brittle that didn't get stuck in my teeth... that is... until now. This was every bit as tasty and crunchy, but it dissolved quickly and wasn't a nuisance hours later. And we are new to Texas peanut brittle, so this was our first time trying jalapeño peanut brittle, but it was something else, for sure. The flavor was so close to the original with a sneaky heat that seemed to start after...

I received a gift of Mrs. Annies Peanut Brittle this past Christmas 2021. Brittle is usually not one of my favorites, BUT I could't stop eating it. Rather than super hard, though crunchy, it melted in my mouth...delicious! My negative on this review is due to my 1.5 hour drive to Floresville Texas to purchase more...on my arrival they had other items availabe for sale, but only one small bag of Peanut Brittle and it was smashed in pieces. I saw the gals in the back room making more and filling large containers like the one I received as a gift. When asked if I could make a purchase, the answer was no, they were fulfilling back orders from stores...very disappointing. Even after I explained that I had driven that far, it was a no go. I was told that I could maybe purchase a small bag down at the corner gas station or somewhere...

I stopped by yesterday to get some jalapeno jelly and other jams to complete a gift basket and Mrs. Annie's had the perfect items. I bought a bag of jalapeno brittle to try and I couldn't stop eating it. I know this gift basket may not make it to its destination LOL
