The majority of the food and drinks that my family and I ordered were not good. The coffee was extremely bitter, the waffles did not taste like what a waffle should taste like, the blueberries that came on the waffle were overripe and very sour, the sausage patty that my niece got was so chewy that she felt like she was chewing on beef jerky, the omelet that my brother got was not cooked properly, the dry rye that my dad ordered had butter on it, the soft drinks we're all flat, the list goes on and on. The server came back to ask us how everything was and my sister told her about the bitter coffee and she claimed that "everybody else likes it". My sister is pretty much addicted to coffee and if she can't drink it, even after putting two creamers and four sugars in, then there is something definitely wrong with it. For breakfast, I'm just waking up, not in the mood for adventurous food. Just the usual. I love that I can go to one of these type of diners and without a menu, order my standard eggs over easy with hash browns well done, sausage and a biscuit and that's exactly what I'll get, with very little variation, no matter where I am in the continental USA. Yes, in Hawaii you would get something different. Trust me.

The A & B always looks crowded but that's just the parking. You'll be seated quickly and be served quickly. out, bellies full. There's not many choices for dining out in this part of Lakeland.

Waited 20 mins for a server, they weren't busy. 4 servers working. As we were getting ready to leave angrily another server We had not been helped and came over and took our order. We ordered from their specials menu, and of course, they were out of the first thing we ordered. we ordered different items. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Looked really good But the pork chops were overcooked and very dry to eat. As we were eating our supposed to be Server who had tables on both sides of us walked by without looking up quietly said Sorry I let you sit so long as she walked by. and never acknowledged us again.
