We decided to try this place out because we absolutely love BBQ. Let's start off with what we ordered and how it tasted. A full slab of ribs(completely over cooked, it was like mush in your mouth, you didn't even have to chew it, disgusting), a 12oz side of potato salad(they should change the name to dump potatoes, there was more sour cream than potatoes, definitely NOT potato salad), a 12oz side of bbq pit beans(it consist of kidney beans and white beans with bbq sauce...not your normal bbq beans, tasted like sweet chilli), and a 12oz side of cheesy hash browns( the hashbrowns weren't cooked all the way so they were not edible, nasty). We were suppose to get 3 pieces of Texas toast and 3 pieces of cornbread free with our meat order. We paid for them, guess the guy who took our order wasn't paying attention. We also ordered 3 16oz milkshakes that were way over-priced...$18.75(steak n shake milkshakes taste better and are a lot cheaper). Would not recommend this Bbq...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered on uber eats today from this place. My Uber driver was kind enough to let me know that the restaurant advised that it would be a 6-7 minute extra wait for the ribs. I said no problem because I really wanted some ribs. When I received the order, I already could tell that the ribs were undercooked, and I fought for my life trying to take a bite because it was so tough. Donāt nobody want no tough ribs. itās supposed to fall off the bone! Such a huge disappointment. The greens were also oddly sweet for some reason, and very bland at the same time. Greens are one of my all-time favorite sides so the first bite of this just pissed me all the way off. when I saw the macaroni and cheese I thought āoh I mustāve accidentally ordered macaroni saladā but nope it was the mac & cheese and it was super bland no surprise. The banana pudding was decent at least. It really sucks when youāre looking forward to having a good meal, and It ends just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhew, that was some terrific BBQ ! Hubby and I got a big plate of everything to share - the ribs were a favorite for both of us, they fell off the bone and were nice and meaty! But the pulled pork and shredded chicken was delicious and moist too; I tried mine with every sauce on the table - the mustard, sweet, and sweet & hot - and they were all stellar! Oh! And there was sausage too! It was really flavorful with a bit of heat (not like the ones I've had elsewhere that are just an oversized hotdog) and had a great crunch when I bit through the casing. Hubby's favorite side was the collard greens, but I loved the green bean casserole. Y'all, I always save the bread for last because I don't want to fill up before I get to the food stuff BUT THIS CORNBREAD WAS AMAZING! Crispy butter-fried crust made it the perfect end to the meal, although I was really tempted by the coffee or carrot...
