Al Forno Neapolitan Wood Fire Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

In a city reputed to have no good pizza, this is amazing pizza! Apparently a new arrival to the FIU campus area, I tried these guys on an impulse and was extremely pleased. It's a quintessential Neapolitan pizza: thin-ish hand-tossed crust cooked fast and hot. High-quality ingredients that come together extremely well - much greater than the sum of its parts. I had the Tutta Carne, my girlfriend ordered a simple pepperoni - both were as close to perfect as I have had in a long, long time.

The price is VERY reasonable for these exceptionally delicious pizzas. It's $10 for a large cheese (the Margherita), but it is worth every cent. In this neighborhood, you basically only have your choice of chains, or you can take a drive. No longer! Dump the hot and ready already - come here instead.

I was thinking of where to cater for the Holiday Christmas party and I saw this pizzeria close by. I called the night before to place the large order and the gentleman who took my order was very pleasant and made sure that everything was made the way I requested. When I got to the pizzeria my order was coming out of the oven so extra bonus for the freshness and doing it exactly on time. When the food to the Office it was still piping hot and it was time for everybody to enjoy the Pizza The quality, freshness of the ingredients and taste we’re all great. The prices are also very reasonable. It’s nice to get back to a small business instead of the large chains and see that they don’t sacrifice quality for price. We will definitely be ordered from here again in the future and if you’re in the neighborhood and what have a good Pizza at a fair price you won’t go wrong...

I was looking for a real pizza near home and found this little gem. We ordered the tutta carne, pepperoni and amatriciana pizza, and a calzone classico for 2 people which was a lot! They have 2 sizes available: 10" (4 slices) and 14" (6 slices), however, the slices are kind of big so we ended up with a 10" pizza and half calzone as leftovers.
