Arby's — Restaurant in Florida

The service was great the food was good. The problem was not in my personal experience, but in what happened while we waited for food and while we ate. My boyfriend and I are over the road truckers so we have seen a lot of places and encountered a lot of good and bad service. This was a first for us and I had to say something. Our cashier, Cylie, was sweet and helpful but a little new. When she wasn't sure how to ring something in, she was quick to ask the manager standing by how to do something (add string onions to his sandwich) and the manager was quick to help her and move on to making sandwiches. I went to the restroom to wash up and when I came back there was Cylie dealing with a very rude customer who was giving a very elaborate order in a confusing manner and berating her when she messed it up a little.

After watching this very loud and rude young guy pick on her it became very clear, mainly because he was addressed as Gabe, repeatedly, that he worked there and this was his day off. As well as the way he was harassing the other workers and being generally obnoxious while looking around at the other patrons with a very smug "look how cool I am being so rude" face. When she read back the order he yelled that she messed it up and there should have been tomatoes on it, Cylie replied that he had not asked for them. GABE began to berate her again to the point where my boyfriend standing near by, even told him he hadn't said it.

When she needed to void it out and make the change she didn't know how to just do that one part and asked the manager to help. Again he was quick to help and told her they would go over it later on so she would be able to do it better, he then looked at Gabe and told him he didn't need to worry about it and it was handled. Gabe then stated something to the effect that "It was his concern, he had to work with this later and she had been there a month!" Gabe continued to be disrespectful to other coworkers, the manager and all of this in front of other patrons. Everyone in the restaurant was visibly annoyed at this smug rude little jerk kid trying to throw imaginary weight around.

Cylie was very professional through out the entire ordeal, I would have lost it at him. The manager handled the situation very well, especially with how rude Gabe was being towards him and those on the clock. Basically, good food, fast service, great on the clock employees. Gabe is a rude employee and made the store look bad with his antics and shouldn't work there if this is how he is going to represent the company when he is off the clock. Get rid of Gabe, really. From what I saw, he makes a very hostile work...

We stopped at this place today for the first time today to have some lunch. This time we had a coupon for a double dinner. Asking about it, it was no problem to use it. The young man, Chris, was very friendly not and asked another young man how to do it. He found some advise and started putting it in. The total was great and correct and we got our cups for the drinks right away. It did not take long to get the food. It was all hot and fresh and the taste was good. I liked the relaxed atmosphere and that everybody was very friendly with a smile and lots of eye contact. The location seems to be around for a while. So the furnishing is not the newest. The outside did not look that great, but it was to cold to spend time out there anyway. For desert we had the always great turnover. What a deal. It is. I normally have a good experience at this location but I went through the drive thru tonight and I ordered 2 for $5 beef sandwiches, asked for cheese on both of them and then I ordered the Mac and cheese and jalapeño poppers with ranch. There was no ranch in my bag when i got home, there was no cheese on my sandwiches and the noodles in my Mac n cheese were still very firm and it was like they were barely cooked. I don't know if I even got charged for the cheese on my roast beef sandwiches because I didn't get a receipt. Let's just say I was very disappointed by my experience with the food. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the lady that took my order was very friendly and the peach lemonade I ordered was delicious.
