Lissi the English bartender has a real European work attitude and always a smile..also she attends the bar perdectly..great humor sometimes she is your therapist, or a good listener, a soul mate for time being best friend funny body, advocate .you name it..also the others are pretty cool aa well...a nice DIVE BAR in the beat meanings to meet the real locals and get to know that neighborhood...it's down to earth old school well maintained, save for single ladies, open minded for all other guests who like different things..just nice..there is a good reason they are still popular after soooo many years..

A hidden gem, great drinks, awesome staff, and the patrons are a great mix from all walks of life. Great vibes and good energy from when you walk in to whenever you leave. I’ve made some good new friends here. Even though it’s a little hole in the wall the place is kept exceptionally clean. Martin Barrett, the owner, frequently buys a round for his guests, greets individuals, even shows his appreciation with catered food on game days, or other big events. Visited Barrett's last week after not finding a coffee shop I was looking for. Older crowd, but if you're in the area and looking for a cheap drink, they'll treat you fine. Nothing fancy about Barrett's. No food. Very limited beer options. Strongest vodka cran I ever had ($3). Bartender was attentive throughout. No one was wearing masks. All day Happy Hour.
