Lunchroom Sandwiches - North — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

First timer here and LOVE this place so much!

Did a random Google sandwich search and LunchRoom popped up. Ordering my takeout online was SUPER EASY.

I ordered: Rooster (+ bacon. + avocado) Garlic parm tots

I arrived and within 30 seconds my order was being packaged up. The staff is friendly, prompt and hand delivered my order to me as I sat inside.

Drove home and was eating within 6 minutes or so.

AMAZING This sandwich will give you chills its that good! The extra bacon was a heaping tone of delicious crisp bacon. Not skimpy or slimy. Impressed. The texture was on point. Flavor was incredible. It's literally the best crispy chicken sandwich of my life.

Let's talk tots: ridiculous. Perfectly golden crisp, salty, crunchy. The garlic parm is forward but not overwhelming. I'd say it's a good proportion. Nothing bland or mushy about these. There were SO MANY tots that this side could easily be split between 2-3 people.

I don't recall if there was an option, but this meal would have been next next level if there was a sharp crisp dill pickle spear on the side.

Atmosphere is hard to describe. Retro lunch boxes, small eatery with an outdoor covered patio.

The cashier is the sweetest lady who gave me a GREAT breakfast recommendation. She told me about the briskey and eggs and usually i don't like a simple fried egg and when she told me that her chefs in the back could cook it scrambled, i was more than happy to give that a try and super glad i did since the sandwich was massive especially with the loads of scrambled eggs that came with the sandwich. I didn't think one breakfast sandwich was going to be enough (i was wrong, only ate half and saved the other half for lunch later on) so I ordered a side of mac and cheese since i had tried their garlic fries at the cordova location. I'm also not a big mac and cheese fan unless they have some crispy panko or texture on top and the cashier (feel bad for not catching her name) told me that it included some crispy onion rings on top and blended with multiple cheeses...it is super delicious! I appreciate that the store's motto is "be nice" and all employees were wearing this message on their shirts because it truly puts a smile on a customer's face and it is a powerful message we need during these times. Thanks again for the delicious meals and will definitely be returning to try out the rest...

I absolutely fell in love with this place! Not only is it decorated nicely, but it you can tell they are a family owned business. They even have pictures everywhere of their friends and family and decor. I loved that! The food was absolutely amazing. We had the short rib birria melt, the kids breakfast sandwich and the daily special which was the Brazilian steak sandwich. Everyone of the sandwiches was crafted so neatly, and intentionally with all the flavors converging just right. Each one was prepared on different types of bread and I could really appreciate the artisty behind the chef's choices. It's been almost week since I was there and I can't wait to get back to try everything on the menu. Still thinking about that bread! The sauces were made in house and completely delicious. I can't say enough good things about the taste of the food and the service. We were greeted nicely and were given great suggestions as to what to order. I wish I had gotten his name, but the person who helped us even gave my son a toy and was super understanding and accommodating of our kids.
