Bells Cake House — Restaurant in Apopka

My husband and I ordered our wedding cake and the treats package from Belen and it was nothing but exceptional. Belen herself is an absolute pleasure to work with. We were a bit nervous initially as my husband is from the UK and I am from Canada and we were planning a destination wedding without a wedding planner. We had our cake tasting initially in February and we'd picked the four flavours, fillings and buttercreams. Each and every item was delectable. Before I even had a chance to finish testing each of the cupcakes, my husband had already polished off most of his plate! You can taste the love Belen puts into her baking. We ended up going with the dulce de leche cake and filling with the caramel buttercream and it was such a hit with our friends and family! It was unique and very different to the typical vanilla, chocolate or red velvet flavours you usually find at weddings. The treat were so delicious that we had to get a family member to save one each for us as they were nearly gone by the time we had a chance to get to the dessert table! I would recommend Belen for the lovely customer service she provides, her skill in creating a beautiful wedding cake for us, and the taste of all the treats and the cake she made for us. Bell is my literal hero. My husband and I got married in Orlando, FL 3 weeks ago, and had originally ordered a cake from a bakery in Fort Pierce (closer to where we live) due to a special they were running. The plan was to have my brother pick it up the day before and bring it up to Orlando where we would hold it until our wedding the next day... Unfortunately, the cake didn't quite make the trip and was quite thoroughly destroyed LOL (I can laugh about it now, but in the moment, it wasn't quite as funny.) We went into panic mode, calling nearby bakeries, trying to find a resolution, as it was already 3:00 PM on a Saturday and we weren't sure anyone would be willing or able to make a new one so quickly. Bell's Cake House was the third place that we called, and she was SO SWEET and accommodating, assuring us that she could absolutely have a new cake made in time for the wedding and that it would even be the same design and flavor as the original one. In light of the situation, she offered us a very generous discount, and even threw on an extra tier for free (which we didn't know about until we saw our cake at the wedding and asked her about it the next day). Got married last week and we ordered through bell’s cake house for the very first time! I have nothing but absolute positive things to say about my experience! Bell is the sweetest soul and really listens to you and what you want. We had a phone call a few times just to go over everything and she was extremely thorough and helpful! Come the day of the wedding, I was amazed at my dream cake that I envisioned, it was PERFECT! I gave her the topper and explained my vision and she executed it perfectly. We got red velvet, cookies and cream, and almond cake with raspberry. It was INCREDIBLE. Literally everyone raved about the cake and the cute little dessert table and I had leftovers and everyone fought over the pieces!! It was super moist, the icing was amazing, definitely fresh and never frozen like some grocery store cakes! I’m sad we ate it all lol!!!
