I would give 0 stars if I could.

This place used to be great about 2 years ago. It has since slowly gone down hill and even more so the last 6 months has made a steep decline. The pizza and wings used to be great. Then the pizza started to become a big hit or a big miss and it appeared to be related to who was working that night (which was noticed when we picked up carry out). The last time we ordered wings they were overcooked and looked like they came from starving chickens... Barely any meat on the cracked and broken bones. The little meat that was on the bones had black spots and the "wing sauce" was more of a watered down glaze. The pizza has become pasty and the crust undercooked, tastes like raw dough.

The last 2 times we ordered, they forgot about us. We waited very patiently on a SUNDAY for nearly 2 hours before calling. WE LIVE 1 MILE AWAY, literally on the other side of Bridge Rd. Their response was to blame the delivery guy, both times... Although I don't believe for one second it was the delivery guys fault that the pizza was late/forgotten about, I do believe they just wanted to replace the blame. However, the delivery guys do need to learn how to drive because every time they come here they drive/park over/on our lawn and we have a very large driveway on an accessible paved road. Absolutely no excuse, and we have a healthy, nicely kept green lawn so it is very annoying.

As 10 year Hobe Sound residents who have lived locally for the last 27 years (we grew up in Tequesta, 6 miles away) we will never order here again, this was the last straw (as of 8/28/2016). We gave Big Apple way to many chances and should have boycotted a long time ago... We would rather drive 40 minutes round trip to pick up from a decent place that does not deliver to the area. The only reason Big Apple is still in business is because they are 1 of 2 choices in the small town of Hobe Sound. Try Armatos instead or drive to Jupiter/Stuart for carry out.

I ordered wings online patiently waited 20 minutes in the parking Iot soon after I got an email it would be ready at 6:15, I called at 6:19 to ask if my order was ready they struggled to find my order then said it would be ready in 2 min and agreed to meet me at the door since I had my two small kids in the car and it was pouring rain! I parked in front of the store for another 20 minutes patiently hoping they would come out. They had two young guys serving two small tables, two by the register and one in the kitchen, did not seem busy at all! I called again and asked if they were coming out with my order and the person who answered the phone was very unprofessional and careless. He said my order was ready since the first time I called and refused to bring my prepaid order to the door, I had to ask: do you mean I have to park and bring two little kids in the store in pouring rain? He said yes showing no concern whatsoever. I walked in the store with my baby in my arms and he had the outdesity to ask and make an unnecessary comment! : do you need a bag ? Wait here, you have "something" in your hand referring to my son. I felt offended and stressed by the whole situation. Didn’t feel like cooking so last minute came out to check big apple out. To start out we got greeted right away! Asked if we were picking up or dining in and said we were dining in. We were the only ones in the restaurant at this time as it was about 8 PM. We started with mozzarella sticks, which were definitely tasty ! I ordered the Antipasto salad along with the chicken Parmesan sub. With that they gave us three free garlic knots( so fresh, garlic and buttery) and also added a little dessert and at the end! The salad was amazing however I forgot to take a picture before my boyfriend dug into it. Lol. The chicken Parmesan was on point and perfectly breaded, sauced, and cheesed !!!! Not only was the food good but it was the first night of NFL season and I was dying to watch my Philadelphia Eagles play. I could pull it up on my phone so I asked for their Wi-Fi so that I could join their network and stream it to their TV. They allowed me to and we got to watch the game! I think they should definitely update the inside decor a little bit. However, the overall experience was completely satisfactory and we will definitely be back!!!!!! Oh yeah, can’t forget when you’re inside, they have it posted that Wednesdays and Sundays I believe are 11.99$ All you can eat between 4 PM and 6 PM! We will be back for this !!Thank you...
