I decided to try this place out because it's right around the corner from my work and I was craving thin crust pizza. I went in there and ordered the lunch special and asked for a small order of garlic knots. I was told that they were running low on garlic knots so they had to save the garlic knots. I didnt quite understand why I wasn't able to order them if they still had them in stock. When I asked that question, the lady told me that it takes 3 hours to make them and they had to save them. I wasn't told that they were out of them, just that they had to save them. Not sure why I wasn't allowed to order them if they still had them. So I said okay and ordered the garlic bread instead. Once I finally got my order and sat down to eat, the food was great. I finished my first slice of pizza enjoying every bite. Once I started eating my second slice, I noticed there was a giant black hair cooked into the cheese on my slice. Everything tasted great, but I was very sad to not be able to finish my second slice. The garlic toast was amazing. I'm not sure if I will go back after such a weird experience. Hopefully it was just a fluke because I really...

When I went to pick up the order, not only was the pizza hot, fresh, and incredibly delicious, but the Stromboli was next-level good, and the sauce? Absolutely out of this world. You can tell everything is made with care and tradition — bold flavors, perfect crust, and just the right balance of cheese and seasoning.
What truly made it memorable, though, was the personal touch from the owner, who stopped to welcome us to the neighborhood in person when we came to pick up our order. It was such a kind, genuine gesture that made us feel right at home.
If you’re looking for incredible food and a local spot that cares about its community, Brooklyn Joe’s is the place. We’ll definitely be back — next time for more Stromboli and maybe a...
Read moreTastes in pizza tend to be a personal choice. I believe your vision of the best pizza depends on where you grew up. For example, those from the Chicago area prefer a deep dish pizza. Those from the New York area prefer thin crust. I am from the New York area so it's thin crust for me. But, beyond the crust, the sauce and toppings come next. The sauce should be tomato rich with some tang. The toppings should be fresh and plentiful and be distinguishable as to what they are. We had a 16" "works" pizza from Brooklyn Joe's the other night. On the plus side, the crust was wonderful and cooked perfectly. There was plenty of cheese. As for what else was on the pizza, I couldn't tell. There was supposed to be onions, peppers, mushrooms, sausage and pepperoni. The sauce to me was generic, not distinctive. For me, in the Stuart Florida area, a pizza restaurant named Vesuvio's comes closest to my vision of the perfect pizza for all the reasons...
