Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Florida

Ordered online yesterday so I didn’t have to wait forever in person. Said it would be ready in 20 mins so I gave them an extra 5 knowing they would probably need it. I got there and it wasn’t at the pickup spot. I had to wait at least another 20 mins without anyone asking me anything while they took other orders. After serving customers they finally got to me and grabbed my pick up out the refrigerator. I live 5 mins away and ate it when I got home. I am not lactose intolerant yet I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst stomachache I’ve ever had. I didn’t even finish all my banana split but I think it’s contaminated and gave me food poisoning. I threw up in the middle of the night. Here it is apx 18 hrs later and I have to be in bed from the debilitating stomach pain. I can’t even drink water and didn’t have this day to waste sick, in pain and in bed qtr to 1pm on a Sunday when I ordered it after dinner last night. If I had health insurance I’d be in the ER getting tested for Listeria but I’m not paying that bill, should be the ice cream shop. I got my ice cream maybe an hour after I ordered it by the time they retrieved it from their refrigerator. Probably melted and re”frozen”. They only had a couple workers so I wasn’t trying to be rude to anyone about the wait but when it makes people ill because temps probably weren’t right in Panama City Beach heat, it is NOT okay. The pain is so severe I couldn’t even sit, had to lay back down. I’ll never order from this...

This ice cream shop is a void of any customer service, when I picked up an ice cream cake for a birthday, and it was not what I ordered and was basically told take it or leave it, and after t took it, I then was called by either the manager or the owner and asked to bring it back and it would be fixed. When I arrived back to the store I was then being told by this psycho that called me back to fix the cake of which she had no intention to do, I think she just wanted the cake back to play some kind of power trip game because I told her employee that I was going to post a bad review on their shop, anyway after all her drama about the review, she says with her psycho attitude that she would not fix the cake but that she would just give me a refund, well that was a month ago. Brusters still has failed to refund my money, I have spoken with the corporate office and was told I would absolutely get my money refunded and that they didn’t tolerate their customers being treated in such a manner and they would speak directly to the owner and make sure it was done well, it still hasn’t happened, my next step is an attorney. Mi familia y yo tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar Bruster's Real Ice Cream durante nuestras vacaciones de verano, y puedo decir con certeza que fue una de las experiencias más memorables de nuestro viaje. Cada bocado era una explosión de sabor que me transportaba a mi infancia, disfrutando de helados en las cálidas tardes de verano.

Mi esposa, que tiene un gusto más aventurero, decidió probar uno de los sabores especiales del mes: helado de pastel de queso con fresas. La combinación de la cremosidad del queso con la acidez de las fresas frescas fue simplemente divina. Cada cucharada era un equilibrio perfecto entre dulce y agrio, dejando una sensación refrescante en el paladar.

Nuestros hijos, por supuesto, se inclinaron por opciones más divertidas. Mi hijo mayor eligió el helado de Oreo, una delicia llena de trozos crujientes de la famosa galleta, mezclados con el helado cremoso. Ver su cara iluminarse con cada bocado fue una alegría para nosotros. Mi hijo menor, siempre el más creativo, se decidió por un helado arcoíris, una mezcla colorida y sabrosa que reflejaba su personalidad vivaz y enérgica.
