I was at this location this past Saturday and had a horrible experience with their kitchen manager Q. He is extremely unprofessional and has zero customer service skills . Coming from someone who worked as a fast food manager for over 7 years I would be ashamed to have him on my staff talking to customers the way he does. On Saturday I went through the drive thru realized I was missing a chicken fry . My husband went inside to get the missing item just to be told “he put all of them in the box “ . So I went in side myself with the receipt and bags to express it was not in there . As soon as I approached the counter Q had an attitude . I told him my husband came in side we are missing a chicken fry and he was told it was in the box . But we only have 1 and he was like you only got one and I expressed to him I had two. And then he started to argue with me saying that’s not what was rung up . So I pointed to the receipt and showed him where the chicken fry’s were rung up 2 different times . One with a fry one by himself . Then he wants to get loud with me saying he didn’t ring it up , the girl rung it up wrong he’s not about to argue with me . And of course this made me upset . And I expressed to him he is a manager if she is ringing it up incorrectly then he needs to train her the correct way. I just want what I paid for . And then he express he is the kitchen manager he don’t need to train anyone and I need to leave this Burger King. There’s other burger kings I can go to . And I don’t need to come back to this one . He repeated this several times . And I told him I just want what I paid for . And he give me the chicken fry’s and I asked for the BBQ sauce to go with the fry’s and and he refused to give me any. Told me I need to pay for it because I had some in my bag and he also gave some to my husband . I looked in my bad I had 4 sauces for 2 8pc nuggets , 2 8pc chicken fry’s and 8pc mozzarella sticks . I then went back to the car called the store asked when the general manager will be in. The women who answered told me Monday , and asked what happened . I explained the situation , I could hear her talking to him in the back ground asking what happened . I asked for her name and the general manager’s name and she hung up on me .

I smiled and greeted the young lady at the drive tru ( whom had a dead personality). I joked with her paid for my food then proceeded to the next window to pick up my food. The manager ( black woman with trembling tongue) came to the window i greet her the same way i did the young lady at the first window got my food and left. The next day my boss approached me about my visit at burger king. She told me the manager described me as a "ratchet black girl". Now fast forward to today i asked the manager y would she lie to my boss about my actions as if i did anything rude or out of the ordinary. The manager was very rude and combative. I went inside of burger king to get corporates number to file a complaint. I asked the girl at the register what her name was( her name looks like zumba) and she asked me "y". I told her so that i would not have to entrust her by excuse me or miss or ma'am so this way I could say her actual name itself not to get her in trouble or anything. Read moreAt 10:17 pm Sunday May 7, 2023 I pull up to the drive thru to order and the gentle came first asked me to look over the menu and he would be right with me. Okay. Less the 5 seconds later he informs me the they only have onion rings. Wow that's strange because why tell me to look over the menu when there is only one thing available. I immediately asked him "you don't have shakes", which was the only thing I wanted. He said they did not so I drove away and immediately thought this was really odd. If you only have onion rings, which is probably one of the least requested regular items they have and it's 10:18 pm and you close at midnight then why would you even stay open. Before writing my review I logged into my rewards app and processed to order a whopper junior and a milk and proceeded all the way to billing my card and I didn't want to go through that much to prove a point because I no longer am interested in burger king food. Please can a manager explain this very odd phenomena that occurred while I was leaving Lakeland to drive an hour home. Oh I'll remember next time Wendy's McDonald's, steak and shake, Arby's, Hardee's or any other fast food place is not far so never visit a burger king again.
