I don't even know where to start with this place. My first indication should have been that there was maybe 30-40 people there to watch the first game of the Stanley cup finals of the Lightning playing but hey, they have a nice outdoor patio area and it was conveniently located, so gave it a shot. If that wasn't a big enough sign, the A/C seemed to not work properly. Kind of like it worked fine, but you're in a room of 150 people so it felt warm... but there wasn't that many people! Not sure if this had an effect on the beer cooler but the beer I ordered (amberboch) was not only flat, but warm. I figured because it's not a popular beer it might be an expired keg, but bartender assured me otherwise. Switched to yeungling and was fresh though. Sat outside on the patio and were the only ones sitting outside (myself and a friend) so nobody came to serve us. So i went to the bar to order everything and aside from the bartender bringing out my food I basically acted as our own server going back and forth to the bar all night. It wasn't until the game was over and the bar was closing that a server finally came out (to clear our table). Aside from that the TV's on the patio were so loud I had to yell to talk to my friend (again only two of us sitting outside. I mean volume on full blast) and I challenge you to find a table outside that isn't so wobbly it doesn't seem like it's about to literally fall over. I tried grabbing other tables to see if they weren't super wobbly, even maybe only slightly wobbly, but no, EXTREMELY wobbly. As someone whose worked in and managed a few restaurants, I just can't wrap my head around how bad this place was. It has the potential to be great. It's a sports bar. Fried food, beers, and TV's with sports. Shouldn't be that hard! so I can only imagine the owner of this place is intentionally running it poorly. The bartender was great and super friendly, and the food was OK. I liked that the steak sandwich had spice options for the peppers. Aside from that though this place was almost intentionally bad. I feel bad for the employees because whoever runs this place obviously doesn't care about it and just wants easy money off the backs of its likely overworked employees. I've never written a review like this but damn, I can't help it. Owner should be ashamed, this place could be awesome if they gave a damn or at least put some effort into the building...
Read moreI don't know what happened to this place, but it has really gone downhill. My husband and I have been getting cheesesteaks here since they had the place on the causeway. Today, my husband ordered a sandwich to be picked up with very specific instructions. Double meat, just a couple peppers, no oregano and extra cheese on top the sandwich, not melted into the bread. When he got it home, the sandwich was loaded with peppers, did not have double meat, and no cheese whatsoever. He immediately called and requested to bring the sandwich back and have it made correctly. The woman argued with him that she personally watched the sandwich being made and that it was made correctly. Obviously that was a lie. She then said he could bring it back and she would put another piece of cheese on it. My husband requested a new sandwich, made correctly, as the original was now soggy and cold. She refused. Because of the extra meat and non-existent extra cheese, this was a $20 sandwich including the tip. A complete waste of money and the attitude was completely unacceptable. We will never go back. Edited to respond to owner comments: So if I give you the benefit of the doubt that the sandwich was made correctly, then my husband was given the wrong sandwich as it was clearly not what he ordered. The unwillingness of your staff to acknowledge that was even a possibly, and the refusal to remake the sandwich so it would be hot and correct was unacceptable. The only option that was offered was to bring the sandwich back and have a piece of cheese added to the by now cold and soggy sandwich. If you would have actually done as you suggested in your reply, we would have been satisfied. Not happy about having to make a second trip to get the correct sandwich, but satisfied enough to not leave a...
Read moreFirst off I went in last Thursday because I was going to have a birthday celebration with my friends, but due to the rainy weather for Saturday I had to find an indoor area. I have driven by this place many times before but I’ve never gone in so I went in on Thursday night immediately was greeted by Kristen . The bartender, who is extremely sweet and I asked her what time they opened and if I could bring a party of up to 30 people in for my birthday, and she said it would be completely fine and she took my information down so that the owner could give me a call.
I actually stayed ate some food and played bingo with a DJ that plays little excerpts of songs and then you fill out your bingo card and I have to say while I was there I was very calm and I felt like this is the place that has been missing in my life and it felt good to go there alone and just have a good time
When you walk in, it’s just good vibes. You feel it.
Below are from Saturday where I had my birthday celebration and the owner Bethany had called me beforehand to confirm and said she had two waitresses who would be helping all of us and they were amazing because they had to deal with people coming in and out at different times, so I can congratulate and apply them for all their hard work ! Everyone said they had an amazing time there and that they loved it. They loved the atmosphere. They enjoyed the food. They loved the drinks especially the mimosas lol.
I’m so grateful that I was able to celebrate my birthday here and our next event we will be coming back to this place because we all had such a good time!!
Thank you for letting all of my family. Be loud and share laughter on a special day.!!
Highly...
