I recently visited Henry’s in Delray Beach to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to a combination of poor service and subpar food. Service: From the moment we arrived, the service was lacking. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and inattentive and completely rude. Despite being there for a special occasion, my mother-in-law was not offered any complimentary dessert, which was disappointing, especially when we noticed other tables celebrating similar occasions receiving special treatment. Food: The food further contributed to our dissatisfaction.
Appetizers: We started with the fried calamari, but what arrived was far from what we expected. It resembled small pieces of flat fried fish rather than calamari, and the portion was disappointingly small given the price. To top it all off, this was not squid.
Salads: My husband ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp for $24, which included only four pieces of shrimp. Considering that the shrimp alone cost $11, this felt exorbitant for the quantity served.
Main Course: I ordered the classic burger cooked medium rare with bacon and well-done fries. To my dismay, the burger was served cold, the fries were rubbery and also cold, and the bacon was nearly raw. When I requested a remake, the burger returned well done and still cut in half from when I initially cut it when I first received it, and my fries had simply been refried—something I believe no restaurant should do. It's standard practice to serve freshly prepared food, not reheat items that had already been served. I gave it back to the server and told them to take it off my bill. Overall Impression: The combination of unacceptable service, lackluster food quality, and a failure to acknowledge a special occasion led to a very disappointing experience. I hope the management takes these issues seriously, as they certainly detracted from what should have been a joyful celebration. I cannot recommend Henry’s based on this experience. Lastly, if your table has a minimum of 5 guests a 25% gratuity is automatically added to your check. Unfortunately, this is not noted anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant. We made the server take it off our bill as well as trying to charge me for a burger I didn’t even eat. People beware of this place. They will scam you. Check your bill...
Read moreA great restaurant Henry of bocco Raton on jog We went three nights ago to on a Monday to momma Mia on woolbright in Boynton beach. Tonight, Thursday , we went to the Henry in Bocaraton I am not sure if the area was the difference but there was a difference while momma was empty at six pm. Henry was 2/3 full at 5:30. By the time we left there was a full house. While momma served garlic bread Henry’s served fresh baked bread Momma then served a free salad and soup Henry’s offered s buy one and get the second main course at 1/2 off. Also all liquors were a half price momma a house red wine 6 bucks Henry at 14(7 bucks) for a great wine . The salad which were delicious but too large for two person was 12 bucks no splitting charge I had tuna( rare $32) my fiancé ordered the bronzing fish. Which she loved our friends ordered the veal chop which when the served. I promised that I would have the veal chop next time The bill before discount for two was $103 before tip with discount $73+ $20 tip. For two. In mommas for five very full people who took home a large doggie bag Was 130+25 tip Henry suffered from too many people and too few staff. In momma they refilled our water and bread with out asking. In Henry you had to ask. After the bill took forever unlike mammy the tables were so close I had a problem getting out with my wheelchair the food was so good I will return I understand that the entire shopping center was sold for double the asset price for $40 M. I hope it works well

Read moreI typically don’t leave negative reviews, but the service at Henry’s yesterday (August 25, 2025) was unacceptable.
My mother had spoken so highly of this restaurant, and I was excited to try it for the first time. Unfortunately, the experience completely changed my perception and I will not be returning.
While the host was warm and welcoming, our server in the bar area was shockingly rude and unprofessional. From the start, he ignored my mother’s polite request for very little ice in her cocktail due to health reasons. When reminded and suggested of what he could do he dismissively said, “this isn’t that kind of drink.” That is not how guests should be spoken to.
When she asked for her French onion soup to be packed up immediately because she was in a rush, his response was, “I’m not going to put the tab in until you’re ready to leave,” which made no sense and was completely uncalled for. Later, when we asked for a plastic cup to take a drink to-go, he insisted the restaurant had “absolutely no plastic cups” yet our food came in plastic containers.
Not to mention, my mother is currently in a wheelchair, unable to walk, and has been going through a difficult and depressive time. For a server to see her in that condition and still show such a dismissive and condescending attitude is absolutely disgusting and inhumane.
The lack of professionalism and basic hospitality was so bad that my mother became hesitant to even make simple requests. No guest should ever feel uncomfortable or disrespected in an establishment of this caliber.
The food itself was good, but no quality of food makes up for service this heartless. Considering the way my mother had praised Henry’s, it’s deeply disappointing to say I will never come back again unless this behavior is...
