China 1 — Restaurant in Florida

This place is normally five star food if you order tonight 2/7/25 be careful because the bone in ribs are all dried out. I already called them and the owners aren’t there and no one‘s there and they didn’t really seem to have a handle on what was happening and certainly did not care about my complaint.

I know that they served me day old food and they heated it up. It didn’t taste disgusting, but it tasted dried out and old. So just a warning usually their food is good so I only took off one star I hope that the chef comes back and I don’t have to have this happen again because I’m not gonna pay $11 for ribs that are all dried out.

Update - I had to take off 1 more star: the next morning I heated up the 6 steamed dumplings. They were mostly dough. The insides were crushed or shredded chicken - a very teeny tiny amount - Definitely not worth $8.50.

So I spent almost $20 and I feel as if I wasted my money. This place used to be good. No more. I wonder if their is...

We ordered shrimp fried rice a while back and it was amazing with huge shrimp, lots of veggies and egg in it and enough flavor to barely use any soy sauce, which is why we drove 15 minutes last night to get a couple orders. Compared to before, it did not even come close to the first time we ate there. This time the rice was very dry like it wasn’t cooked all the way. The shrimp were few and were very tiny, very few veggies even made it in and there was no egg at all in the fried rice. I had to use numerous packets of soy, which I never do, just to make it edible. Not sure what happened last night but it definitely wasn’t the same shrimp fried rice we had gotten before. We rarely get Chinese food but we were craving it last night so it was disappointing. Staff was very friendly so I’m giving 3 stars for that but the food was more like a 2 star. It was edible but just not good. Lacked flavor, ingredients...

They have improved in service and flavor. We ordered from them about two years ago and I didn't like the food. I felt like their food was too bland in flavor and lacked the chinese food takeout crispiness in certain dishes but I decided to give them another chance about a month ago. OMG the food was delicious! My favorite is their General Tso Chicken. I like the garlic, sweet, spicy flavor it has and they haven't dissapointed since I gave them another chance. I don't know if they have a new cook or if they changed their ingredients but they have definitely improved. Their portion sizes are also great for their prices. We are going to keep ordering from them because the flavors are very similar now to the chinese food we used to...
