China Wok — Restaurant in Florida

Craving Chinese for lunch, so decided to give this place a try. We ordered Krab Rangoons, and General Tso's Chicken and Hot & Spicy Beef lunch specials which we selected the soup and the soda to come with.

I wish I could say I loved it, but the food was average at best. The wontons in the soup were good, but the broth tasted almost watered down. Not terrible, but not great. The Gen Tso's chicken was okay, but not outstanding, and not spicy at all. The Beef I requested extra spicy, but again it was kind of bland. The soda was not in the bag which is odd since I even put a comment in asking for Coke if they had it, but maybe they misunderstood what I meant, and I should have checked the bag before I left.

The beef itself was excellent, though. Nice pieces of meat and tender. And they used real mushrooms-not canned-which is a huge peeve of mine. It just needed more overall flavor.

Ordering online was super easy, another plus. And they also have Thai food, which I think I would try another time instead of Chinese to see if that tastes more robust.

I tried this place 9 years ago and never went back. My son brought me home diner from here tonight and it was fantastic. I'm pretty picky about my Chinese food and was very pleasantl surprised. The egg rolls were pretty darn tasty and the general tsao was outrageously good. My favorite was the wonton soup but the boneless ribs should not be overlooked! Reminded me of what I would get back in NY. So good. Found my new favorite restaurant. I have to say my favorite dish as of the moment is the Phoenix and Dragon! Just the right amount of heat, huge shrimp, vegetables and something that tastes like general tso chicken all in one...

Just ordered dinner from here wick we do all the time, I heard exactly what my wife ordered she ordered one combination dinner of chicken lo mein one combination dinner of beef with broccoli and one small sweet-and-sour chicken with white rice they brought our order and it was not what we ordered we had one beef broccoli combination and two orders of sweet-and-sour chicken I called and told the owner what we ordered and he argued with me about it I stood right here and heard everything my wife told him and he would not do anything about it he said sorry but I’m not bringing you another dinner.
