Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Saint Augustine

My kids always love when we stop into Tropical Smoothie on the way to Grammy's house! We always pick up a Jetty Junior for her--Strawberries, bananas, and just the right size for her! My youngest loves his Awesome Chocolate kid's smoothie, and my older child love the Peanut Butter Cup smoothie, with extra peanut butter. I always like the Mocha Madness which has both coffee and cappuccino blended with yummy chocolate... But today I swung for the only naturally sweetened Island Green Detox!

The atmosphere at this location is so nice and clean with wide open space. We stayed a while for the kids to enjoy their favorite cheesy kind of quesadillas. I just can't get over the Super Green Caesar Wrap. I love the parmesan crisps inside! I find it hard branch out to other food selections because I enjoy it so well.

A man named Amit helped us today. I believe him to be the ower of this location and perhaps another. I've seen him for years at Tropical Smoothie and he is always so pleasant and kind. Drop in and tell him hello! Amit always wears a smile and returns such friendliness...

7/26/24: I ordered on the tropical smoothie app 40 minutes has gone by so I called the tropical smoothie and they never received my order apparently according to the girl who answered the phone. I can’t even request a refund for my order as they say they never received it. 20 dollars down the drain

Update 11/11/24: decided to give them another chance and regretted it as soon as I received my order. I ordered food with some upgrades like cheese crisps and spent about 3 dollars on extra stuff. I called tropical smoothie and they told me “we have been out of the things you ordered all day” why wouldn’t they have called me or done something. They told me they could remake the order but how can you remake an order when you don’t have what I ordered? I thought with the issues they have been having with people complaining they would’ve tried to remedy their issues. I guess not. If you want good food I recommend you go somewhere else this place just keeps...

My boyfriend and I love the smoothies and food here, yet the staff was really slack. They were friendly when we entered and made our smoothies right away, but they completely forgot to make our food. We're waiting at our table and we can hear the 2 younger workers gossiping behind the counter. 2 other customers come in, order and receive their smoothies and we still dont have our food. My boyfriend then goes and asks about our food and they're like "oh my gosh the food!" The apologized and then made our food. Luckily they weren't busy so it didnt take too long. I start to eat my food and realize they made the wrong thing. They forgot the chicken in my 3 cheese and chicken quesadilla. When I went up to tell them they didnt even say sorry. They just looked at each other and started laughing. I didnt find this funny at all. I had to get my food to go now as my boyfriend was already finished his food and we're now running...
