Coffee & Friends Breakfast Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

DO NOT RECCOMEND I have never been treated so disrespectfully from a restaurant in my whole 25 years here in Englewood. I came in with my 4 year old son after numerous times of trying to call but their phone was not working.I was told 30 minutes for an omelet after verifying with my husband that that was ok I went to order. I was then told now its going to be 60 minutes. I said oh ok 60 minutes what happened? He tells me (the owners son) well if you would have called then you could of just picked up where I explained again that the phone didnt work. He said again next time call. I wasn't going to order and went outside grabbed my phone because I thought well let me make sure I was calling the right number before writing this. I went in to verify the number and he says to me oh my god your back I'm busy I said well I just want to make sure I'm calling the right phone number he said yes this was the correct number so we left. I will never recommend this place because of the service and the ONLY reason we were going to eat there today is because it's a couple blocks away. I have eaten there before and for 27 dollars got a waffle,coffee, and breakfast sandwich where at ZEKES I can get 3 full meals for that. On top of rude staff this place is overpriced and mediocre...

I arrived at egg and i at 10:10 am. It was just myself and i knew exactly what i was planning on ordering. The gentleman served me my coffee after 5 minutes. So far so good... it went downhill from there. 10 minutes later he refilled my coffee and took my order. I ordered 2 eggs over easy, bacon,home fries,corned beef hash and white toast with butter. After i placed my order 2 other couples came in AFTER me. They recieved their food almost instantly! Let me remind you... it was just me eating! I asked the waiter why they recieved their food first. His response was " they were here before you ". Thats funny as i was already seated and watched them walk in. The eggs were fine. Burnt tasteless home fries. Over cooked corn beef hash! Maybe my beard was too big and they thought i was muslim! Not the case as i ordered bacon!! The service and food was terrible! And to be called a liar after i stated that the 2 couples arrived way after me was the icing on the cake! They should be ashamed of themselves. Avoid at all costs unless you are over 50 years old and white as fresh...

Food- the Omelet was out of this world! Absolutely loved the home fries and toast. It was extremely delicious. As well as a cup of coffee, perfect taste and well made.

Service- the service was very professional and helpful. My server Eric P. Was very sweet and polite, definitely knew how to greet a newcomer. He had very excellent communication as to what I liked to order. Very respectful as well.

Atmosphere- as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a happy, warm smile and asked if I would liked some coffee.....like right as I walked in. It was awesome to know what I wanted right then an there. The way they have everything tidy and neat was very professional how the napkins/silverware were placed on the tables and on the bar. And behind the bar everything was well put in place, the cups are neatly put on the shelves the condiments were all stocked, etc......I'm like "wow they have really nice organized set-up" and don't forget it was clean and spotless. I 100% will definitely be coming back here for my coffee...
