I was adament we go to the Faull Inn for dinner. I wanted their breaded mushrooms. So yummy! When we got there we found our own seat and asked for a booster seat when the waitress came. There were 3 adults and one 2 year old. She took another tables order. Believing she probably just forgot my husband asked again for the booster seat. This time the waitress replied, "Im working on it!". So we wait. the bus girl gives us the booster seat. The waitress took our order. It was friday so we all ordered the special fried fish or seafood basket. I got the fried calamari and a salad. It says $2.00 to change for a salad. Thats what i asked for. Ww ate and the "waitress" walked past our table many times, never asked if we needed anything. The bus girl came and cleared part of our table off. At the end, the waitress gives us the bill. I tell her that i was charged 3.99 for a salad and it should be 2.00. The bus girl comes back with the bill and says, the manager says "since you ate it, you have to pay for it." I said Im not paying for it. So i wait for the manager. He introduces his self and that was all. I told him that I was charged 3.99 and it should be 2.00. He says a salad is 3.99. I told him i orded the special and it says 2.00 on the front of the menu. i ask to see a menu. I show him . It says 2.00$. He says thats exchange for the fries and coleslaw. I told him i didnt order the fries and coleslaw. He says, "well you ate it so you have to pay for it." I was like I didnt want it. He said then you should have sent it back, ( umm...ok...) After noticing other customers were listening he says fine ill give it to you for free. He tells me how much it will be. not knowing how much the price was originally and seeing it was a handwritten check i check the price on my phone calculator. ok. its correct. I say the price out loud that i had gotten on my phone and its different from him. ok, i forgot tax. he hears me and says ok how about 36.00 even. I was like umm. ok. all i wanted was for him to change the price to 2.00 instead of 3.99. Instead he made a big deal out of it and eventually gave it to me for free. I was so confused. I pay the bill and give the bus girl the tip. As I was leaving, walking out the door the manager says, "Do you want the crayons too?" ( very smart remark as they were the crayons my son was playing with). I didnt even look back. Could not believe a "manager" would talk like that to a customer. Its too bad they have those people as staff. it was a really good restaurant. I...
Read moreThis place is so unorganized. There is zero supervision. It's all young people with no guidance. They are doing the best they can but have had no training. We tried to call an order in to pick up, but no one answered the phone! After going there to put the order in, I can see why! It is not clear where to go to put an order in. We sat at a table, and there were two servers that walked by us several times. By several, I mean 15 inches with no acknowledgment! Finally, I got up and went to the back where there were 3 young ladies and a young gentleman with a line of tickets and the PHONE that was ringing constantly (they ignored) . They were so confused . Also, when you get a "to go order, be sure to ask for everything you need to go with the food. ie...salad dressing, lettuce and tomato if you get a sandwich, grated cheese for pizza, plastic utensils, (not everyone is taking it home to eat), and when you order the chili the description says it comes with onions, cheese and crackers.. well, you have to ask for these items! And be sure to check the order before leaving because it probably didn't make the bag! All in all, it was a terrible experience....
Read moreOur company orders food from the New Faull Inn all the time but this was our first time dining in. My wife and I had a great experience during our visit. The atmosphere was quite memorable that of a small mom and pops diner. The waitress sat us down and provided menus promptly. We would've ordered more food because everything we've tried at our company functions were phenomenal. However, since this was supposed to be a light meal we just ordered a small pizza and potato skins. The pizza was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Next, the potato skins were our favorite and were filling. The food came out in a timely manor which gave us a little time to enjoy the other patrons cheery vibe. If you have a chance to stop by we highly recommend The New Faull Inn and don't let the exterior mislead what wonders await inside. A slice of home town cooking where folks can enjoy great food and have...
