Have been to Davilas about a dozen times since they first opened back in July 2022. The pizza is very good dining in, but has, a couple times, been inconsistent where there was like x2 the sauce. I didn't complain or anything because I prefer more sauce; but it does show inconsistency and a willingness to put out product that isn't up to snuff.
Typically the pizza is thin crust and cooked well, with just a tad bit too much cheese for me but that's just preference. I have also eaten here three times for dinner and have had the mushroom swiss burger, the lasagna and their pasta Piselli
All three dishes were satisfactory but the pasta Piselli was quite good and I would definitely get it again; and I don't typically ever get tortellini out because they're almost always frozen trash - these, while still frozen I believe, were quite good served with a very flavorful cream sauce.
One thing that annoys me about Davlias on Oslo is that I feel awkward just getting a couple slices then sitting down - the servers want to turn every walk in into a table - which is typical when a place like this opens (I've opened a few pizzerias myself) because they want to drive sales, customer experience and also get the server more tips. None of that is really a big deal, but it should be better streamlined.
With streamlining in mind, the other thing that I simply cannot understand about this restaurant is the amount of employees that are there. Every single time I have been there it has been overstaffed. That's cool in the beginning, and in theory this is still a new endeavor, but when I go there for lunch and there's 5 customers and 7 or 8 employees I wonder. Sure, maybe they are in training, but as I said its pretty constant. However, it matters not to me and doesn't reflect in my review.

Read moreI was hoping to share a great review after picking up our order we had called in for pick up, (they also offer delivery), but something went sour. After arriving home with our order and setting all the entrees up on the table, we realized that we were missing 2 side salads that come with 2 of the entrees. In order for our food not to get any colder, we opted to eat what we had, then call. Thirty minutes had gone by from when we got home with the food, until I called. I told the woman who finally answered the phone, about their error, and her response was "yes, I have your salads right here and I was going to call you." (thirty minutes later? Really?). She proceeded to say, "you're welcome to come back and pick them up." I told her we were still seated at the table eating, and asked if they wouldn't mind delivering them. She replied, "yes, but I'll have to charge you a delivery fee and it will be 45 minutes to an hour". I expressed how absurd it was that a business would charge a customer a fee for a mistake that THEY made. She continued to say, "it's just the way it is". Our order was paid with cash so she offered to open an "account" for me, and that there would be 2 free side salads on account the next time I called from that phone number or walked in to place any future orders. Very insulting and very poor...

In my opinion, Davila's Pizza is not worth the hype and consumers should pick a different pizza restaurant in Vero Beach, FL.
Food: In my opinion, the food was just okay. We ordered garlic knots for the table which tasted as if they had been sitting out all day. In my opinion, the large black olive pizza we got just tasted super oily and as if they rushed to bake it since the crust was also burnt.
Service: In my opinion, this was the greatest downfall of Davila's Pizza. In my opinion, our waitress Joanne is the reason why I will not be going back or recommending this restaurant to anyone. In my opinion, our waitress was down right rude and anytime I asked her for something she would tell me no or act annoyed. In my opinion, while this might be viewed as a "joke" after an hour it is just simply rude especially when you're paying for service and expected to tip. In my opinion, until this is rectified I will not be back and will not recommend anyone to go there. In my opinion, other restaurants in Vero Beach, FL such as Vittorio's, Station 49, or Armani's offer better service and better pizza.
Atmosphere: In my opinion, this is the highlight of Davila's as the restaurant is modern, clean, and offers...
