Fish On Fire — Restaurant in Pine Castle

Arrival Ok so we are starting this review with the service cause I am actually reviewing this in real time. And so far it has take 18mins before another had to let the waitress know that we were here. After that she came and had to clean the table we were already sitting at.😒😒😒😒 Now mind you someone had already said seat yourself, so someone​ that worked here knew we were here.

The waitress She was pretty nice. I think she understood​ that we had been waiting forever and this cause her to be on it. What ever the reason she was gone had the appetizers rite out. Had our drinks orders in and out. She didn't over do it but didn't under do it either.okay I have to cut some of her points cause one we got our food she was ghost for a min.😯😯😯😯

Food The drinks and very nice and strong. 😋😋 I'm working on number two and I am like wow. And I am not even in 25% so that's a good think 👍👍👍. We ordered Gator tails as the appetizer and was great. Was fried right and taste great. Now although my order was correct, my partners was missing fries but two mins later it was fixed.

Atomsphere It's a really chill place were you can be payed back and may see a lil bit of fun ruff play. I've been here twice before in 4 years and always the same. The feel is pretty good. Pretty good get drunk feel. Mostly rock music played but if you like getting drunk and rocking out then 😀😀😀😀🙋🏿‍♂️🙋🏿‍♂️🙋🏿‍♂️.

Over all If u can deal with the wait everything else is pretty good. Food is good, atmosphere is great🕺🏾and drinks🍷🍸🍹🍺🍻🥂🍾 are amazing. I still can't get over how long it take to get to us and this is why I've only been here 3times in 4 years, this year twice. But I am trying on this place because of the food and the feel after a drink and a half, but on the service side service can definitely be improved. Not only did we wait this long for I saw other tables wait as well and the waitress was hit and miss. She was great at 1st but then forgot about us...

I gave this place great score before but not today. Horrible service!! You might want to train your servers that customers do need plates when trying to eat food and to actually listen to the customers when they order. Might be something that you want to do but hey, what do I know? We are a party of two people. We have now been here an hour. I have no ice left in my drinks because it all melted and cups sweating on the table. The server ask if we needed more drinks and I told him that if the food ever arrives, I am going to need new drinks because the ice melted twenty minutes ago. He didn't bring me any drinks. I guess that he is unaware that I am paying and will be making the tip decision. For those that say I like to give negative reviews, you are wrong. I like to get service when I am being charged my hard earned money. I give amazing reviews when I receive proper service. I don't give great reviews when we have been here now over an hour and all I have are wet sweaty cups full of warm water. After an 1.5 hours we finally received our food. Had to ask three times for ice for my warm drinks. The food was ok. No pre-bussing so we are now sitting here with a table covered with empty drink cups and dirty empty food containers. We are now going on being here two hours. We are waiting for anyone to show up with our check so we can pay and go home. I have two loads of laundry to finish before I go to bed tonight and I have to get up for work at 3 AM. We got here at 5:20 PM and it is now 7:10 pm. I will NEVER return. Good luck!! Fish on Fire: forget the food, it’s the band that’s on fire!

Wyndham booked me at the wrong La Quinta and I ended up here, at Fish on Fire.

Fish on Fire has a very extensive menu, but I didn’t have the patience for that. So I ordered the lobster bisque, the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and a grilled cheese sandwich.

The lobster bisque tasted ok, but the texture was a bit odd. Not only it was way too thick, but on the red side as well. They said, it was made in-house; I say, there’s no way.

That lobster bisque was condensed and commercially packed, possibly mixed with heavy cream and milk. The coloring was a dead giveaway—too red for a a soup that was made in-house fresh.

The shrimp stuffed with crabmeat was a joke. They need to rename the dish, the whole description very deceiving.

In reality, the shrimp was smaller than my pinky finger—and very small hands I have—and the stuffing was actually a dot. Yes, a dot... I went to take a picture but it was soooo small the image couldn’t even, be captured.

The grilled cheese, I have to say, authentic it was. The French fries that came with it, deflated and soggy they were.

However I have to say, the people next to me, ordered the mahi, mahi and it looked beautiful!—see picture!— but I wonder.... was it good???

So after all that and just about when I was getting to leave, the live music starts and that band let me tell you, on Fire they are!

The lead singer appears to be a southern rock/jazzy/blues singer.

For a moment there, I thought he was going to do a Blues Brothers bit... but instead he did Clear Water Revival, or was it, Charlie Daniels... ummm... do-not-know—!! But whatever he did, he was great... soooo.... applause...
