Fluid Lounge — Restaurant in Florida

It's a really nice spot, my 4th time going... live in Central Florida... last visit, this guy was allowed to bring his Huge @$$ dog inside... now don't get me wrong, I love dogs and have had many growing up... just wasn't the place to have one in, and it wasn't even a service dog, and you certainly don't need to a service dog in a club even if he was one...I certainly wouldn't have my dog in a smoke filled environment or in a place I felt the patrons would be uncomfortable... each time he moved to an area of the club, people would thin out from that spot... also it was very obvious that the bouncer/security guy was selective and charging people coming in now $5 isn't going to kill me but just the fact of I paid $10 and a number of others came in for free fair is fair... maybe they got the Gainesville discount... drinks are good and dj is decent... just chill on the doggies...

I went this past Friday night... Great atmosphere, but when I asked for what is known as a Johnny Vegas, and even explained how it was made, I was told they don't normally make drinks like that... (double shot tequila, equal parts watermelon pucker and redbull) yet... when I look around the room most of the drinks were mixed drinks... Just seemed odd... And they were a bit overpriced... but overall... they were at max capacity... and still they were still quick with their turnout of drinks... I definitely will be back to give it...

Not too many bars in the Gainesville area can come close to the Whisky selection here . Great DJ also ! What about some bar snacks for purchase such as trail mix or pretzels .

Update : seasonal menu changes are great and so are “some” of the bartenders / mixologists. The owner has some maintenance to do . Music when there is not a dj is usually terrible. I’ll update the star ranking when the lightbulbs get fixed as bad lighting mood changer as I’m a...
