Ok, normally I don't take the time to do this, but I think I'll start. So definitely would have rated higher if not for one thing. I was so very excited to try here. Then when I entered and I read the menu, it was just amplified 10 fold. I was greeted by friendly and also knowledgeable, which was a great plus. It was clean and orderly not fishy in the least. Beautiful display cases with fresh gorgeous fish and seafood. Great menu I'd love to try. A sample of excellent clam chowder. I ordered the fried shrimp special, which came with two hush puppies, fries, and Cole slaw. Fries great ,love the crispness, Cole good, and I'm pricky about my slaw, hush puppies also hit. Tartar sauces and cocktail sauce both on point. They even sevr it with smile and a lemon wedge. What? So you ask why a 3? Sadly the shrimp were not just over cooked they were hammered sigh 😭 I ate only 3. Season even good. My hearts dreams were crushed. Now I'd be so gun shy to try anything else. That it too would be over cooked. Like I really want to try the oyster po boy but if they their over cooked all the juice is gone. Will I go back fir chowder an amazing look fish and seafood, absolutely, but cooked other probably not. And I know people have off days, but probably not. Pls do give them a try. They tried to overcharged me for my meal. I always get orka instead of french fries with the shrimp box. This time they tried to charge me an extra $2.99. When I brought it to their attention they insisted that I was wrong and I was told that I should have been charged in the past. Let me understand this so you mean the last 100xs I was there I should have been charged an extra $2.99 🤔. I called Lee (owner) and explained the issue to him. He barley let me finish talking before he said he would refund me. Lunch special(Mahi) is fantastic! Hush puppies and fries are great! I can't say enough about the food! Service, on the other hand, was absolutely awful. The guy that took my order was not a people person and should be relegated to back of house. I asked him after very little feedback during our transaction, "How long?" and he said "10 mins". We stepped outside to sit at a table, and 22 minutes later, I went in and asked about our food. It's sitting under a heat lamp, and I'm ignored for another 5 minutes before he bags my food and hands it to me. I asked how long it's been under the lamp(fried fish btw so time is essential here).
