This is in response to the woman who complained about a missing wallet. I remember you talking with the cashier regarding this issue. I recall that the cashier was polite, sensitive, and sympathetic to you regarding this incident. I understand how you felt regarding the missing money; however, it's unfair to blame the establishment or the owner. He is an older gentleman who doesn't understand computers and doesn't advertise via the internet. He will never see your complaint. I don't understand why you are angry with the owner. I am a retired police officer and served in the military- I feel bad for those who lost that money. I have coffee here everyday and this has never happened before that I am aware of. Many people visit here daily just as you did, many from out of town. He can't X-ray someone's soul- and you can't expect him to. I am here almost daily because the food is fresh, service is good, and the patrons are salt of the earth people. I would remind you that what goes around comes around and that person will be on the other end some day. I am a patron of this establishment and I am willing to contribute to any fund to help replace the money...
Read moreThis was the first time me and my mom came here.
Today was her 15yrs of quiting smoking and I wanted to take her out so I gave her the choice on were to go. She picked this place because she always wanted to try it out and I said ok. When we got here the waitresses were friendly and down to earth which is always a bonus.
I got a gyro (Yes its traditional Lamb meat) with a side of fries and then I got a spinach pie to share with my mom. There was a lot of spinach so I wasn't a big fan of the pie, but my mom loved it.
My mom got a Turkey dinner which said it came with stuffing, but the stuffing they have is just ripped up white bread pieces and she said the turkey tasted like deli-meat(But didn't want to complain because she was already complaining about the stuffing lol).
The owner was very kind and gave a side of apple sauce for the stuffing not being real stuffing. And the soup of the day was the wedding soup (which she loved and she's very picky on that soup if not...
Read moreOur waitress was rude & snappy. We're from out of state visiting family & she seemed to rush us. Went to bathroom & came back she had cleared my coffee cup, water, & already took my tip money off the table. As well as everyone else's. We weren't finished by any means but felt we had no choice. We were also overcharged by $10 on our bill. To add insult, a person in our partys wallet went missing. Finally after insisting it had to be in the trash bc the way she cleared the table so rushed she found it. However the cash inside magically was gone! These are people who serve our country currently and were from out of state as well visiting with us. What an insult! I will never go back to a place that serves veterans, those who currently serve, & the general population in this manner. Shame on you server. Your lucky we didn't press charges. But we were so taken back by the rudeness of the whole experience & the missing wallet we wanted to part ways with you as soon...
