Gulfview Snack Shack — Restaurant in Florida

We stopped here one night for ice cream after having dinner. I’ve never seen this place before but they had a good line of people waiting on their food & treats. I asked the guy behind the counterif they were new and he said they’ve been there about 2 years. The ice cream was real & good and I had to try the fries (which were oversized and crinkled)Excellent! I knew I would have to come back and try the burgers one day. After searching online ( yelp, maps & google ) I couldn’t find this place and couldn’t remember the name! So we drove back to the location (30a & Gulfview Heights St.) next to goat feathers and here I am making sure they get a review and noticed! I have never in my life experienced such a fiasco. First, it took nearly 2 hours to get our food. After finally receiving it the food was absolutely gross. The shrimp in the wrap was not even peeled!!! It also was just a flower tortilla with just the shell on shrimp inside! No avocado, no sauce, nothing. The fries were limp and undercooked. The hot dog and hamburger beef had a funky taste and the fruit cup was soggy and old. I have never written a bad review but this was just over the top bad. While I was waiting another customer was complaining of waiting 40 minutes for two hot dogs....

We stayed just down the road from this little place, and I am so glad we did! We have a picky eater in our bunch, so when we fixed a dinner he didn't like we just walked down and got him some chicken strips! He was happy and they were excellent. Oh, also stopped here one morning for a coffee emergency (my mom made the coffee and it was very watery). They have pumpkin spice and gingerbread year round 🤯! So I got me and my husband some iced pumpkin caramel cinnamon lattes and they were AMAZING! Oh and the workers are always very friendly and helpful. Could not be more happy with this...
