The Perfect Pig is obviously a chef driven restaurant, as the food is among the best on 30a. And best prices. Five stars all day long for the food. But the front of the house definitely needs new management. We've lived here 3 years now and went our third time last night. Experience the same each time over three years..awesome food..terrible service. The first two times manager blamed the staff..lack of employees off season..new employees in season. Bottom line is they need training either way. On our most recent visit we sat seated for 15 minutes before we were finally acknowledged by an awesome server who came out of her section to take care of us - the server in our section walked by us 4 times like a deer in headlights never even made eye contact. And they were not busy..maybe 6 tables in the whole place.The host sat us with no silverware. The $16 glass of red wine was served at about 90 degrees. We switched to something cold..and the bartender served us the most sour lemon drop martini on the planet complete with olives? Lemon drop martini with olives? That's a first too.
But the night was saved by our server Siobaun. Five stars all day for Siobaun! Thank you! Had it not been for her this would have been a one star review, as we were 1 minute from walking out before she arrived at our table. And thankfully she did because as always the food was incredible.

I hope this review makes it to the owner as I hate to see the place go down over such an easy fix. We've tried 3 times over three years so I know we're not the only ones with these identical experiences.
This would definitely be a weekly restaurant for us if only we could have a completely...

Was our fist day on vacation in Santa Rosa Beach. Went for a walk with the family looking to grab a bite to eat. Found this place and walked inside. We stood at the door for about three minutes and had three wait staff walk by us and didnāt say a word. Walked around the small place and walked up to an employee and asked if they had any tableās available. There were approximately 15 open tables, but all had reserved signs in them. This was at 4:30pm. We did get a table. As we sat at the table the table was so wobbly when someone moved the table felt as if it was going to fall over. I told the waiter, but he didnāt care.
Now to the food: We ordered Two burgers and two kids menu items. Bill was over $102.00 for two burgers and two kids chicken strips. The food was sub par. The burgers at five guys are way better and we could have saved $70. We got no alcohol either. Only drank water and still paid $102.00.
Before I ate I asked where the rest rooms were and was told over there as the waiter pointed. I went to wash my hands and walked into the most disgusting rest room Iāve ever seen. A rest room at a rock bar was cleaner. No soap to wash and and smelled horrible.
For a place that is supposed to be a place for rich people which we are not, Iām glad Iām not if this is how rich people spend there money. Iāll save my money next time and go to Texas Roadhouse and get a burger that is twice as big and twice the flavor.

I canāt say it enough. They went above and beyond any expectation I had. The food was phenomenal, everyone was blown away, the staff went above and beyond to serve us and were so friendly and kind doing it, ADAM!!! Adam I owe you SO BIG. I really canāt put it into words - highly recommend on any level, this place is worth your time. (One of many examples: I didnāt buy a wedding cake⦠so I asked if the chef would be willing to keep one of the dessert tortes (they were cutting up for the guests dessert) whole for me and just let us cut it for pictures. I was expecting nothing but a normal torte, and no effort put into it, which was fine I wasnāt paying for a wedding cake. When I tell you this chef made me the most gorgeous and incredible wedding cake I think Iāve ever seenā¦!!! I was SHOCKED. (I get emotional thinking about it). This chef and this company DID NOT have to do that. This was such an above and beyond decision they had no reason to make for me. It was incredible and beautiful. On top of that they saved the 2 top tiers and froze them for me to take home and eat at my 1 year anniversary. So unnecessary and so appreciated.) Thank you...
