Ordered a chicken biscuit meal yesterday at the drive through. It was greasy and cold. I went back to return it, stood at the counter for a few minutes until I was acknowledged. The young lady asked what I wanted, I replied I wanted to return the food and get a refund, she told me I’d have to wait. I asked her why and she said because I don’t know what it is. I showed her the receipt, at that point she turned around and was talking to the lady in the back cooking food for about 10 seconds. The lady in the back yelled out in a nasty tone “because I’m the manager and Im cooking food”. I stood there for about another 5 minutes until the “manager” finally came around. She came out very combative and told me I would have to come back tomorrow because I was rude and she wasn’t going to return my $10.25. I guess asking why I have to wait for a refund when I have the food, drink and receipt is rude??? I never did get my refund, the manager and staff walked away from the counter and went to the back of the store. I waited a couple minutes and finally left. The fact of the matter is that the manager was the one that was rude, the correct response from her would have been, “im sorry, Ill be with you in a minute, Im busy catching up. On another note, “the manager should do a better job managing and making sure her employees are presentable to customers. One girl working at the front counter had a cheap light weight hoody on with no bra, her nipples and nipple piercings were protruding through her shirt. Is this acceptable attire for a dining establishment Hardeees??? Families come here with young kids and I find this to be very unprofessional, tacky and reprehensible. Read moreThis Hardee's restaurant (yes I said restaurant) is far and away the best Hardee's I have ever eaten in. I called it a restaurant because you don't get this kind of service in a "fast food" place. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and friendly 'hello'. The person who took our order was very attentive, and she paid exceptional attention to the details of our order. One of the shining stars at this Hardee's is Mel. In a world of rude people, and horrible customer service, her infectious smile and upbeat attitude was certainly a breath of fresh air. She made sure we were completely happy with every part of our dining experience. I truly believe Mel could excel in anything she set her mind to, and Hardee's should consider it a privilege to have her as part of their team. It's people like Mel that will keep me coming back to not only this Hardee's, but others as well in the hopes of receiving the same type of dedicated personal service that speaks for itself. In summary, it's clear to see that the management staff at this Hardee's location have paid close attention to what it takes to provide a successful and pleasant dining experience. Thank you to Mel, and all of the staff at this Hardee's for continually providing top notch food, and such amazing customer service.
