Hardee’s — Restaurant in Florida

I stopped here this morning and waited in line for about 15 minutes before I left. I was inside waiting in front of the counter and the cook in the back was telling the server he didn’t care if she was behind. I left and went to my inspection. I came back for lunch to see if it would be different. When I arrived at the menu board somebody came on and said we’re sorry but we’re very busy there’s a lot of cars in front of you and we have a full front of the house. He said he’d be right back to me, and I waited about three minutes. When he came back online, he apologized and asked me for my order. I ordered the number one with a sweet tea, and he said please pull forward. In fact, I did have a long wait in the drive-through line with nothing to do but look at all the trash beside the building. From the time I ordered my food until I picked up my order at the drive-through window was 21 minutes. The order taker was very polite and friendly he took my payment and thanked me and said he’d be right back with my food. He thanked me again and handed me my food. The sweet tea tasted fresh not too much ice and not too much sugar. The fries were just warm, and I wasn’t going to go back at this point. The famous cheeseburger was good. The bun was fresh and soft. The lettuce was crisp tomatoes were firm and the onions were crunchy. Overall, I was very satisfied with the burger. I would probably give them a higher score had I not had to wait so long both in the morning and in the afternoon. The highlight of my visit was the polite server in the drive-through, he was very friendly...

I have been holding off on writing a review on this one as the first time I went I was very disappointed. I went thru the drive thru and was the only one there. Placed my order and headed to the window. I waited for over 30 minutes to get my food. I figured it was only a fluke and could not get any worse. The second time I went, I was with a friend and we drove up to the speak at the drive thru. Read the menu and was waiting to place our order. No one came to the speaker to talk to us, We drove around to the window and finally got someones attention and they said if the menu lights were out they were not server the drive thru. I told him the lights were on. The third time I went I was one car away from the speaker in the drive thru and sat there for 20 minutes and the line never moved. I backed up and left, the person in front of me also backed up and left. This Hardee's is a combo Hardee's/Gas Station/Convinces Store. I would have to say pass...

It wasn't what I expected it was just an ordinary Burger and as usual hype and social media blows it out of proportion as to make it more than what it is so if you really want a good hamburger cook it at home season of The Way You Want It season and cook it the way you want it cooked that's just friendly advice from your friendly chef and I've been doing it for over 44 years so take heed, if you want a very good burger get the leanest beef you can with a little bit of fat into it and cook it the way you want to preferably medium to medium-well add some sauteed onions mushrooms and some cheese lettuce tomato pickles and onions mayonnaise mustard onions and pickles and enjoy it, the best burger you'll ever have is the one you make and have fun with it because food is fun and it always has been and always will be that was my motto in 1973 and it's been my Lotto up to this day, so enjoy your life and enjoy your food and have fun...
