Update - 12/21/2020 - The Singapore Mei Fun that I ordered yesterday was fantastic. It was well-prepared with quality ingredients, non-greasy (as it can be at other restaurants), and beautifully presented. It is the best Singapore Mei Fun that I have had the pleasure of enjoying in this area. Also, when viewing the kitchen from the front counter, it is extremely clean and orderly. And it was very reassuring to see the chef wearing a face mask covering her nose and mouth. I highly recommend Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant.

Sharing my very positive post tonight from Next Door: We got take out from Hong Kong today for the first time (my work mailman, who lives in Hudson, highly recommended them to me). They are under new ownership, and the employees working there were very welcoming and courteous. I ordered the eggplant in garlic sauce. Although they were out of eggplant, one of the cooks immediately walked down to Winn Dixie and purchased a fresh eggplant for my meal, which I not only appreciated but which impressed me a great deal. Our lunch meals, which come with either a can of soda or egg drop/wonton soup (we chose soup) were very delicious and filling. I will definitely be returning to Hong Kong...

Let me just start off by saying if I can give this place zero stars I would. The food was absolutely terrible. It was some of the worst Chinese food that I have ever had in my life. We ordered fried dumplings, which tasted like it came out of a sewer drain, the beef fried rice was completely dry, and the oil that they used to fry their food tasted like it hasn’t been changed in quite some time. I will never order from this place again, because when I called to let the girl know about my experience A girl named Brittany answered the phone and she was completely rude to me. I told her that the food was really bad and I understand that things happen but she said to me in these words exactly “what do you want me to do about it?” I asked for a manager and she said the manager was busy.
