Their burritos must be great because that’s what the line was waiting for. All I ordered was a simple iced coffee and noticed the cashier rang me up for an iced latte which is $2 more. When I went to say something then he says “oh we are out” ok so you are just going to charge me for a completely different drink instead of saying something? He tried to tell me it was the same which after 6 years of Starbucks barista experience I can tell you it is not. So then switch to just a basic hot coffee. Go to the hand off plane where the barista was actually trying hard to juggle everything. She hands me my cup with some milk already in it for my coffee which I have to get myself out of the carafes. The bold roast was empty so went for the other one which was completely lukewarm! The barista did get on brewing new carafes right away but the wait was long and there was no help or sense of urgency from the cashier to assist her. After all that the coffee was just ok. I always tip but this time I’m...
Read moreWe were staying in Grayton and were looking for a good place for coffee not too far from our rental. We went online and checked out some reviews and saw that we were 1 mile from Hotz Coffee, which is connected to Chiringo Restaurant. It was an easy bike ride down. We got there about 9:15. The place is small, but cute. They have all different flavors of coffee and some alcoholic beverages as well. We opted for a couple of lattes. If you are looking to be in and out quickly, this may not be the best option as they take their time crafting their drinks. We were in no hurry and felt it was well worth the wait. The coffee was rich, flavorful, and delicious. We also ordered a breakfast burrito and both agreed it was one of, if not, the best breakfast burrito we have ever had. It was loaded with bacon, eggs, and cheese. They included a jalapeño aioli dipping sauce which was yummy. The people were friendly and we had a great experience. Planning to head back again...
Read moreGreat concept - food and drinks just not very good
Was excited to try this coffee shop but unfortunately it was a big let down. Maybe they should consider a different brand of coffee beans, because their current choice is less than ideal. The inside of this place is super cute & trendy and has a lot of potential! Food and drinks were just not the best for the price they cost. The veggie breakfast burrito had no flavor to it (and the salsa that came with it had a date of 5 days ago written on it, if your going to give days old salsa don’t keep the date written on it for customers to see)
The coffee was hardly drinkable. Maybe the barista was new, or maybe they need to try out a different brand of coffee beans. I hope they improve something because they have great potential here!
I think it’s a great concept as you can also rent water equipment here (paddle boards & that...
