Terrible food ordered kung po chicken. We live a couple of blocks away we get home it tastes like they used left over grease from shrimp or some kind of fish it was terrible. I couldn't eat it. My wife took a bite and said I guess I could eat it. Took another and spit it out and said no I can't eat that somethings wrong with it. So I say ok no problem just go back and have something made or a refund. I get there the lady actually takes some and tries it and says it's good. I'm blown away at this point. For one you know me and my wife each tried it. That's just unsanitary to eat out of something a customer brings in! I then have to argue that it's not good and I want something else or a re make. She says a re make will be the same. Like I haven't eaten Chinese my entire life... So I said ok then General Tsoa she said just refund (it was getting close to closing at this point). I said fine pretty upset how I was treated already. Then offers $5 reasoning because it's good it's my fault for ordering something I don't like. I had to stand there another 5 minutes and argue to get full refund. I should have just contacted my card company they would have refunded on the spot. I was out raged leaving out of there. I love Chinese food in general actually my favorite ate there a few times before and it was just ok. I will never eat there again I was treated poorly when I wasn't rude, upset, disgruntled all I wanted was a remake, something else I like that's edible or a refund. I'm not disgusted with the place which is unfortunate for me because even as I'm typing this I'd love some Chinese but Jin Jin is closed on Sunday's and this is the only other place I had found and used. Terrible customer service. Terrible food that time. I can honestly say most of the time it was your average Chinese. So if you go there good luck on what they are making or feeling...
Read moreIf I was able to give 0 stars for the food I received from hunan express located off of racetrack Rd in Fort walton beach, Fl I would! This is my experience and other people's experience with patronizing this business might have been good but mine wasn't! I had a taste for some Chinese food because it's been a long time since I had some. And I decided to try hunan express for the first time and I was very disappointed! On sunday afternoon I ordered over the phone a large vegetable fried rice and I went there to pick up my order. Once I made it back home I opened up the food container and I started eating but after eating 3 spoons of the vegetable fried rice, I felt my stomach feeling extremely uncomfortable and I had to immediately run to the bathroom and afterwards I came back and picked up the container of chinese food and smelled it and it smelled like something in the vegetable fried rice was either spoiled or very old and should have been thrown away instead of them selling it to a customer, So I threw the whole container of food in the garbage! And I know the problem was this Chinese food because I didn't eat anything else out of the ordinary but this Chinese food! And I will never patronize hunan express ever again! The government should make it mandatory that all Restaurants have regular, random, and thorough inspections done on their restaurant. So that all paying customers will get the good service that...
Read moreFirst of all, I called in and ordered for a 15 minute windows to pick it up. I get there, and I always order House Egg Fu young with dark sauce. I get home to share the meal with my daughter because normally you get 3 big eggs fu young patties and split them. I looked over at her plate and said, "You can have a whole patty and a half of one. She said that is a whole one, so I looked in the tin foiled container, and they looked as if they were shaped like a football. Trust me, this picture was taken at 2:06 a.m. after it soaked in the sauce since I picked up. The sauce looks as if it made it swell. I've been ordering from this place for the last six and a half years. There was a time the semi- tall girl wouldn't even try and make it. You should continue or consider hiring the guy back that used to cook for you or just tell me what days he's going to be cooking, and that's the day I'll order my house egg fu young. I was very disappointed after almost spending 26.00 dollars for this replica of the dish. And as far as the atmosphere, there is none . It's a fast food pick-up spot. You order, you wait, and go. You guys need to take a trip to New York 's China district or any order pick-up place in Brooklyn . I lived there for 20 years and never ever got a bad dish. Sorry about being so harsh, but did you use real eggs because it got tough after I...
