Placed my online order at 6:59 pm. Was quoted 60 minutes. Checked the Tracker feature on the app and it was still in the Make stage. Called the restaurant at 8:09. The employee told me that my order had just left and was on the road. Called back at 8:34. The same employee told me that my order was on the road. I asked him why it had been on the road so long. He said, "We send out a lot of orders at once and yours was probably last." I asked him how much longer it would be. He said, "Oh, it says here that she is pulling up now." He also said, "We've been busy." I asked him, "Why didn't someone call to let me know my order was going to take longer than expected." He said he doesn't know. I called back at 8:49. The same employee tells me, "She is 2 minutes away." I asked how she is still 2 minutes away if 15 minutes ago she was "pulling up now"? He remained silent. I complained that after 40 minutes on the road, the food was going to be cold. He said, "One minute" and put me on hold. The manager then got on the phone and said my food wouldn't be cold. I told him I don't want it if it is. The manager then said again that she is 2 minutes away. I hung up frustrated. About 5 minutes later, the driver arrives. I ask her why she was on the road with my pizza for almost an hour. She said, "I just came straight here with your order." I explained to her that I'd placed the order 2 hours ago. She showed me the receipt and told me my order was placed at 8:09. I showed her my email confirming my order at 6:59. 8:09 is when I called to check on my order the first time and they told me it was already on the road. So with the driver next to me, I called the store again and put the speaker phone on. I asked the manager why I was lied to the first and second time I called. He said that I wasn't lied to. I explained to him what the email said, what the receipt said, what the employee at the restaurant told me, and what the driver told me. The driver spoke up and said that she just left the restaurant with my order at 8:40. So, I was actually lied to both at 8:09 and 8:34. The Manager then continued to gaslight me and say that I wasn't lied to and that I was just mistaken about what the employee told me on the phone. The reason I am putting this on Google is due to the character limitation on the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would give this place ZERO stars if I could. As an elderly customer, I expected at least a basic level of respect, but instead, I was met with rudeness and complete disregard for customer service. I called to let them know that one of my pizzas was incorrect, and the second pizza was missing the flavor on the crustāwhich, if you know anything about their pizza, is a huge deal. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the employee on the phone immediately became combative, as if it was my fault that they messed up my order.
To make matters worse, the food itself was inedible. The thin-crust pizza was so hard it couldāve been mistaken for cardboard, and the other pizza was burnt, lacking the toppings my children specifically wanted. Living on a fixed income, I donāt have money to waste on food my family canāt eat. It was incredibly frustrating, and instead of making things right, the employee decided the best course of action was to hang up on me!
This establishment clearly does not care about its customers. If youāre looking for quality food and decent service, go anywhere but here. Iāve escalated my complaint to their corporate office, and they claim theyāll call me back in 24-48 hours. Weāll see if they actually follow through. Iāll be updating this review accordingly.
If you value your money and expect even the slightest bit of customer service, avoid this place at all costs. They clearly donāt care about their customers, and based on my experience, they certainly donāt deserve...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered my pizza through the app. The application doesnāt say anything about no cash refunds no refunds at all. I walked into the store and the first thing I see on a bootleg piece of paper typed up is āall sales are final no Cash refundsā. I didnāt think anything of it because this is my neighborhood. Hungry Howies and I come here from time to time. But Iāve come here less and less often within the past year simply because the quality of pizza continues to drop. Not only was my pizza cut in a crazy disarray of disproportioned lines, the pizza appeared soggy when I requested well done. There is more crust than there is pizza. To spend $30 on two pies and a side of cheesy bread is crazy when you think about the terrible quality I got in return. Now I know why they had that sign. They are refusing to give people money back for a product that does not live up to even the minimum standard of a pizza place. I want to go back, but I do not have confidence that Iāll get a better quality if this is what theyāre serving now. I let it slide the last time I went, but I cannot ignore this last time. If this is an individual individually owned franchise, please look at your stuff and how they are making your pizzas because your franchise will continue to get terrible reviews and less traffic if you donāt do something about it. I will...
