From the moment I walked in, I was disappointed. One of the associates saw me standing there and asked me if I could wait. No problem. However, three gentleman walked in after me, and she asked how many, and she sat them before me. Unacceptable. We were finally seated and waited at least five minutes for a server to approach us. After 15 minutes our order was taken. While we waited, they brought us coffee. Which I must say was surprisingly delicious. I asked for creamer, and the runner said, " I will bring you some." I finally had to go and ask for some myself. Again, unacceptable. When our meal arrived, they forgot my grandson's pancakes. Another 10 minutes for those to arrive. The food was not what I remember. The eggs were cold and rubbery, my biscuit was cold, and the pancakes were also cold. What shocked me the most was my fruit cup. It consisted of pineapple from a can, and a few pieces of melon. Definitely not what was pictured on the menu. The bowl was smaller than the bowl my creamer came in. Then, when I saw that they charged me $4.56 for a bowl of fruit from a can, I was flabbergasted. Overall, this was one of the worst breakfasts I have had at an iHOP. I eat at an iHOP in Boca Raton quite often and have never received such unacceptable service and/or lack of descent food that I received at this one. (7378 SW 40 St Miami, FL) I will NEVER eat at this restaurant ever again. After writing this review, i noticed there were a few others that mentioned the same issues as mine. I should have checked the reviews before going. It would have saved me a lot of disappointment. I truly hope they get their act...
Read moreThe wait was crazy because the lady trying to seat people was being maitre-d and clearing tables. People in the line were observing that there were plenty of tables with no people sitting, they just didn't seem to have anyone to clear and set the tables. That poor lady was getting a lot of abuse from people, when in fact the manager was responsible as she needed to have staffed the place correctly. It looked like no-one working there knew what they were supposed to do, no defined roles for each staff. We finally were seated, and got coffee quickly enough, but we waited a long time for a waiter. We ordered pancakes for our daughter, and after a very long wait for the food, it was uncooked, I thought the centre of the pancake had custard or something, but it was actually the egg batter uncooked. All the time we were there, a table of 4 next to us had emptied and there was quiet a mess on it for at least 30 minutes while there were people waiting to be seated. Anyway, after pancake-gate we complained to the manager and left, she started to give out to the staff, but I interrupted and told her that because she was manager, she was at fault. Was never a big fan of IHOP in the first place but it seemed like the best place in the area for a quick breakfast, however there was another dinner/breakfast place across the street that didn't come up on our Google search. At that stage we just drove home hungry and swore...

One of the worst service I've ever received. Took ~20 minutes to get service, drinks and food order placed another 10+ minutes to get water, another 5 minutes to get coffees (which was freshly made and good), but the bus boy brought the drinks. We are thankful the bus boy gave us some attention. However, he was the only one. The waitress (which we didn't meet until 20 minutes after sitting) paid little attention to us. We had to ask for water twice.
When we did get food it was incomplete. The spicy poblano sauce was out but was not told to us until we complained about it missing. If I would have known the sauce wasn't available before hand, I would not have ordered it. Didn't look or taste like there were any poblanos in it. It was supposed to be spicy but it had zero spice, and the avocados on it were bad. My big steak was slightly cold by the time I got it. Salsa for the big steak had to be requested when it is standard.
Paid extra for blueberry ricotta pancakes on the side, but only had blueberries on top. When we complained about the pancakes the waitress tried to argue that they were made right. I had to show her the menu for her to remake them. When we got a new stack, only the blueberries were in the middle.
At the end I stood at the register for 10 minutes with multiple...
